Comicsgate is ostensibly about comics, genocidegate is very clearly about genocide. I’d say it’s fallacious to assume the controversy is just people whining about comic books, but it isn’t an unreasonable assumption to make.

I don’t know why you’d be against the idea that even a horrible person could find a way to redeem themselves. I mean can criminals be rehabilitated or not? Should we lock people up forever on a 1st offense? Or should we give them other chances?

I’d just like to say that this is not really how it works. The rapist/murderer is not less of a sinner than you. He did not sin less than you just because that sin is forgiven. But, he will be saved rather than you, because he gave complete recognition to the person who bought him the choice to ask for forgiveness.

Not really. Racism, iirc, is defined as discrimination and/or antagonism against a race/races, so I don’t think demographic grouping counts.
Racism is defining something. Or assuming something. Or judging something. Based on race. It doesn’t even have to be a negative.
So, to even acknowledge that someone is of another race is racist? I hate to be the guy that pulls out the dictionary, but that is not what racism is.

Saying “I believe it is true” is not the same as “I know it is true, I’m 100% sure of that, it is a fact and there are evidences”.
But there are evidences. They just aren’t reproducible in a controlled environment. The fact that you dispute the credibility of those evidences doesn’t make them not evidences.
Anecdotal evidences, sure. The thing is, anecdotal evidence is wrong all the time. Someone can be absolutely certain that they saw Neralt Braum murder his wife, but that’s not enough evidence to prosecute. Maybe the witness doesn’t have the best eyesight, or maybe they did see something but misremembered it, maybe they saw Neralt Braum doing something and they filled in the details later when they saw that Neralt Braum was suspected of murdering his wife. Human perception isn’t always accurate, it’s not even usually accurate. Don’t expect others to put any value in your personal experience; because, even though it is technically evidence, it’s the least reliable evidence there is. I’d personally argue that even if we were just looking at anecdotal evidence, evidence like “I saw this,” or “I felt this,” is the least reliable type of anecdotal evidence. Like, if evidence were a scale, it would look like this.
Sometimes I think it sucks when people are absolutely certain of what is almost certainly unknowable, if it exists at all. And it also sucks when people are absolutely certain it doesn’t exist.

Wow. I really like that. It actually took me a moment to figure out why the scene felt so different. Removing/changing the music really worked wonders for making the scene more emotional. I assume you added all the sound effects and foley yourself? It sounds great, either way.
Online Trump supporters are really good at infiltrating a community and pretending they represent some sort of “silent majority.” It’s like astroturfing, but instead of doing it for pay, they do it out of sheer fanaticism. Gross and creepy.
