These are some mock-ups I did on how to handle that scene;
I think that one’s pretty chilling and cool, but the audience misses out on Vader’s reaction to Padme’s death.

Just out of curiosity (and maybe it’ll help people come up with suggestions) why did you decide not to include Hal’s redone Vader Awakens scene? Did you not like how the scream sounded, was it not how you think he should’ve reacted, or something else?

Well, I think so.
Just because someone does something to be “PC” doesn’t mean they are actually being “PC.” As with seemingly everything, people don’t understand that you can’t take the actions of a select few and think that they represent everyone else.
Just because some people misuse the PC concept doesn’t mean the PC concept is bad.
Who decides what is and isn’t PC? In my opinion, if someone is doing something to be “PC” then they are absolutely being “PC”, what you or anyone else deem to be actually “PC” don’t factor in to the equation at all.

I’ll summarize as best I can;
He said that in some cases the child is actually the predator, such as in cases where teachers have sex with their students. He says that the students prey on the teachers and the teachers end up having their lives ruined for having fallen in love with a student. He then says that in the case of him and the priest, he was the predator despite being 13.
He says that society gets so hung up on child abuse that it extends into policing of relationships between consenting adults, such as college students and professors.
One of the hosts says that consent is more black and white than it’s made out to be in cases like this; it’s probable that there are 13 year olds capable of giving consent, but at the same time there are 13 year olds who still think girls are icky. 18 is just a general parameter, it’s not that once someone turns 18 the world becomes clear to them and they suddenly understand sex, but an age has to be picked where we can say “okay, you can consent” because it’s a lot easier than looking at these cases individually and trying to determine whether the underage party could consent.
Milo agrees with age of consent laws and says that they’re probably around the right age. However, there are certainly people who are capable of consenting at a younger age, he considers himself to be one of them. He says that this particularly happens in the gay world, where it’s a coming of age experience for younger men, and that they’re nurtured and loved by older men. He says age of consent is arbitrary and destroys the complexeties and nuances of relationships, and this is his problem with “the left”.
One of the hosts says “that sounds like Catholic priest molestation to me,” to which Milo jokes about being thankful for being molested because otherwise he wouldn’t give such good head.

Thanks. I’ll definitely release a few versions with and without the color grading or the lightsaber changes, though. Just for people who aren’t into it. I admit the color grading is unneccessary; I honestly just did it because I could. I’ve always not liked how RotS looked, so when I decided to commit to doing this, I thought “why not?”

Speaking of releases, I am pretty new to distributing things like this, so I would definitely be grateful if someone could help guide me through when I’m done. I’m thinking I’ll just distribute through PM’s honestly. I’m not confident enough to want to widely release it. Still, best or preferred places to upload the actual file itself would be nice to know.

Few newer changes I fiddled with:
- Windu says “Take a seat, Skywalker.” As opposed to “Take a seat, young Skywalker.” in the first council meeting.
- I decided the entire elevator sequence being in wasn’t the best idea. It’s still there, but I made the SBD’s talk and bicker less. The only things they say now are “Hey! You!” and “…Stupid little astro droid.” It actually kind of helps the comedic timing when cutting back and forth from Anakin/Obi Wan to R2 flamethrowing the droids.
This edit is looking really good. I love the color grading.
