Thanks for the posts, guys. I was having a "senior moment" and couldn't quantify what I was trying to say. :)

I found my last attempt of the ROTJ collection on my backup drive. These are NOT raw, and were run through "Extra Precision" on DePopper. Some of the levels are likely too high.
PM for info.
I finally received my factory sealed Star Wars LP the other day, but I'm curious about a sticker on the shrinkwrap in the top left corner. It reads 8666 H NDC.
Web searches have been fruitless. Any ideas?
I am trying to think of something to say that wouldn't come across as mean....
Um, Sansweet is heralded as the original Star Wars collector, with a collection only matched by the Lucasfilm Archives itself. He was a mega fan, and a great resource for fans the world over. Then, he started to get paid for it and became part of George's campaign to quash the GOUT.
It matters because, if he has an inkling of a soul left, he will speak out against George now that he's off the payroll.
It is highly unlikely, though.
How long have you been a fan?
Oh yeah, and there's also the fact that I tried to contact him about the GOUT via postal and electronic mail for three years with no reply.
Yeah no kiddin'. As long as there are people like Philip Wise who keeps his nose up LFL and Hasbro's asses in exchange for toys and money, there is no need for Sansweet.
Indeed. If the guy had any integrity, he would have left long ago. Suckling on the Star Wars teat is just too tempting, and he got fat. I wonder if he will continue defending/apologizing for George after he leaves.
I say good riddance. It would be nice to know the real reason why he is leaving, but that'll never happen. Too bad it's not in protest over the GOUT!

Yeah, I prefer to have control over the pitch for the same reason. I haven't had a turntable that I couldn't adjust since I was a kid.
Damn, apparently this forum doesn't like IE 9.
Whoops, having browser trouble....
I would rather have more stable pitch as well.
I don't really care about it and I wasn't planning on adding it to the project, but would anyone be interested in a vinyl recording of the TPM soundtrack? It was the last Star Wars recording to get the vinyl treatment and I have it in my collection, so I thought I'd ask.
LOL, no I think I'll be okay. :)
I only have two and am expecting two more.
Really? I've always heard that direct drive was preferred. Even when I worked in a music store back in the day, DJ's and enthusiasts alike preferred it.
Thanks for checking in, and yes I want. :)
Okay....
Well, does anyone have the "Battle of the Heroes" CD single? It has 4 tracks, one of which is the main title. I am trying to find out if it is the complete version of the track and not the horrible chop-shop version from the full CD.
Can anyone help with this?
Unless the turntable had a built in preamp.
Thanks. Messages sent and fingers crossed!
Groovy. Count me in. :)
I will also be getting a direct drive turntable next time.
No problem. Picture 1 is the new Rocket-Firing Boba Fett. Picture 2 is the RF Fett on the left, and 2010 Vintage Collection Fett on the right. Picture 3 is the RF Fett on the left, and original 1979 Kenner vintage Fett on the right.
***EDIT***
I updated the pics to reflect who is who. :)
I am very glad to have this. A B C, I can officially tell you that this set is now the ONLY version I have on my playlist! All the rest have been retired! My THX Certified speaker system reproduces this with absolute perfection. The pitch, tone, highs, lows, mids, EVERYTHING, are just flawless my friend!
This sound experience takes me back to the premiere in 1980. My sister Carol, who unfortunately passed away a year later, took me to see the film at a local theater that had been renovated and updated with Dolby. This set took me back there, and I am grateful to you for making it happen, A B C.
Thank you sir. This is how the score should have been presented to us from day 1.
Has this been completed, Puggo? If so, can someone PM me the info?
Ahem....
Anyone? Beuller?
Wow, look what showed up on eBay:
