Okay, here we go.

At 17:48 of the "Soundtrack!" THX promo, everything is fine.

At 17:52 the pixelating begins and lasts a second or two.

At 17:54 it becomes part of something involving Jabba, not the THX promo.

At 17:59 it goes back to the THX promo, then the image freezes, the sound stops, but the DVD player counter keeps running until I stop it.

This behavior happens on two standalone DVD players, my Blu-ray player, and my computer's DVD drive. I tried it 3 different times and used 2 different burning programs, as well as downloading the whole disc all over again.

I thought the same, but the problem is definitely with the image itself. Something got corrupted somewhere and I have already removed the rars from my machine. I tried different programs and even a different burner, but the error occurs in the exact same place. So, that tells me that it is definitely not my equipment. All I can think of to do is to download the disc again.

Well, that was rude. Let me rephrase.

I don't remember how to use the newsgroups, so I would need to start from scratch. I have tried to find online tutorials and such, but it might as well have been in Swahili.

That said, I am asking if anyone can provide links or send me a message containing the information I would need to get started.

My copy of the RowMan ROTJ bonus disc is corrupt. Specifically, it goes bad just before the 18 minute mark on the "Soundtrack!" THX promo.

*Edit: I am trying to download the disc again to see if that solves the problem.

Yeah if it were to be edited, the Radio Dramas would have to be the source. I remember that did confuse me at first, but back in those pre-home video, pre-Internet days, we were left to use our brains and figure it out ourselves. :)
