Hey Zombie,
I mentioned the site in the comments for a SW related article at ScreenRant, so hopefully that'll help bring some traffic.

Indeed. Good to read that you're back in the fray, Ady. When I didn't get any replies to my PM's, I was starting to worry.

For the capitalist-pig-sucking-the-life-out-of Star Wars Celebration V, Acme Archives is offering a poster called "Empire Revisited."
Wow. If anyone can get that Mac one to operate on a PC, please let me/us know!
Um, that's what I just said.
It is! Here's my latest:

Well, we can start by changing the Title of the page from:
"Template #45 - Aquarium Template"
To something like:
"Welcome to SaveStarWars.com!"
:)
I agree. It is imperative that, in the authoring process, a SEPARATE NTSC and PAL image should be done. A PAL to NTSC conversion always results in disaster. Returning to Jedi suffers from this speed-up.
In Ady's case though, I have yet to experience this being overlooked by him. :)
It's not very often that anything appears at the official site that is worth a shit, but I thought this was kinda neat. You can create your own Title Crawl. For folks like me that only wish they knew how to do edits and such, it's kinda fun.
Here's the one I created:

Create your own and share them!

zombie84,
I'm glad I came across this thread. You have the beginnings of a nice site there. :)
I am fairly skilled in html and I offer my help should you want to take it. I have seen a thing or two that I can help with right away, should you desire. I'll be able to help get the page to start appearing in search engines as well.
I'm here and at your disposal. :)

Yeah, what he said. :)
Indeed. That's what I was trying to convey for the "AT-AT debate." I only copy/pasted the FILM info, and spared the EU info because it is nothing but shite.
I don't agree with the prequel music during the duel or the rearranging of the dialog in Obi-Wan's house either, but that's what the Purist Edition is for. :)
I'm still holding out hope that a DVD-9 of the PE may see the light of day.
Other than that, ANH:R is worth the watch and an absolute joy to watch, no matter what version. It's just so nice to see things fixed!

thejediknighthusezni , Greats ideas... For an edit called "The Empire Struck Through"...! :)
Or perhaps, The Umpire Strikes Out? :)
Oops, I thought they were new for some reason and not the ones that were included. My bad.
Excellent posts, Bravo Zulu and doubleofive. :)
Wow, can we get some hi-rez of these?
Oh the antici....
:)

I find this discussion of editing the briefing scene, kinda pointless. We all know Ady will NOT be changing this.
Personally I have never had any trouble with this scene. Leia IS a leader of the rebel alliance. She has military experience (4 years with the Rebels).
It is never stated who came up with the tacitical plan anyway. Leia is just the one briefing the pilots which needs to happen anyway. Perhaps she consulted the Generals.
It is fine the way it is.

Yeah, what he said, as well as Radi0n, Bingowings, euroherbal, doubleofive, HotRod, Rogue Leader, Handzzz, and mfastx.
To avoid any confusion, I am just going to wait until you have "final" versions of the tracks you want to replace, then I will integrate them into my copy of the AE. Just to be safe.
Okay, well, I think I'll just hang on to the AE in it's entirety until you say otherwise, A B C. :)
Agreed. There is absolutely no need for Leia's lines, voice, or mannerisms to be altered at all.
I'm a bit confused here (yeah go figure).
A B C, are you going to be REPLACING tracks on the AE that you are not satisfied with, or are you planning on making a whole new edition?
On the whole, I REALLY dig the AE, and I hope that you are just going to offer replacement tracks for it, rather than making a whole new release. To me, when something is the Audiophile Edition, it should be the final, all inclusive, ultimate version to have. It would be a shame to render the AE as obsolete.
Hey A B C, my factory sealed TESB RSO double LP arrived today!
