Don't be too hard on him. His mom is a Thai prostitute with a club foot and his dad was Kickboxing/Chickenhead Eating Champion from 1997 to 2002. His dad sold them on ebay to pay his tournament entrance fees in 2003, but he withdrew in shame when he was caught "abusing" the chickens.

I can't leave an open bucket of KFC unattended or Stinky pulls a total American Pie on me every time.

It's not an open invitation for you to start promoting your site, no. It's an invitation for those who are unhappy with ot.com to leave, and I imagine anyone with that problem is probably reading this thread.

You'll notice all this drama has been confined to Off Topic and the fan edit forums are pretty much unaffected. I plan to keep it that way.

Those links get deleted because some people have poor internet etiquette. You don't use someone else's private message system to promote your own site behind their back. Period. You don't go against their requests not to link to the site while talks are taking place. You don't run around like an ass calling the mods Nazis.

Warb was being a smartass and got an appropriate response. If that's enough for him to leave, he needs to man up.

As I've said repeatedly, anyone who feels they're getting a raw deal can go.

Tell you what. Since this has all become so absurd, here it is:

I welcome anyone who doesn't want to be a part of this community any more to go and join theirs. You can run free in fields of green and complain about this place until your fingertips bleed. Their Off Topic section seems particularly active. I'm sure it won't be long before some Nobel Prize-worthy posts appear.

The focus of this forum changed to fan edits a long time ago. If you check out those sections, you'll see plenty of healthy discussions. If you're not into fan edits, this forum doesn't offer as much as it once did. I will say that General Discussions has picked up quite a bit, and with the exception of one new addition who doesn't seem to have many fans, it's a decent place to discuss Star Wars.

Please don't view recent events in the Off Topic section as representative of normal forum activity. If it were a flame fest every day, I'd be the first to say it's time to pull the plug.

Sometimes, things can get out of hand when debate gets heated. Miscommunications occur and misunderstandings result. I don't think either side is proud of or pleased with the outcome.

We have our reasons for putting these restrictions on you. You know what they are and why they're in place. You promoted your site using this forum's resources and the way you went about it was shady at best. You and your group had options when you went about your project, you made your choices, and now you're dealing with the fallout.

When boon23 asked about my character, you presented me as a liar and potential thief. Unfortunately, he bought into your opinions, which are mostly fueled by a need for recognition and professional ambitions. Why should I offer you any respect or leeway at this point?
