Welcome back, ADigitalMan!! It's good to hear see read you on here again!

I can't wait to see your next Harry Potter releases! As I mentioned in an earlier post, your extended Harry movies are what we watch in my house! I've been hoping you would finish out the extended saga with HBP and DH! And, as I also mentioned in my earlier post, an extended, combined-film epic movie of Deathly Hallows would be, well, epic!

Anyway, glad you're back! Hope all is well!

Man, I really hope that is true that ADM is working on a Half-Blood Prince extended edition! His other HP extended editions are all in a box set of mine waiting to be complete! :)

Whenever we watch want to watch Harry here, we always pop in ADM's versions, because they feel more complete. I was worried that he stopped making them. So yeah, I am greatly looking forward to Half-Blood Prince extended, as well as Deathly Hallows (1 & 2) in the future!

This sounds so awesome! I can't wait to see the finished product! I love Gremlins!
The only thing I can think of that I have is an original NES cartridge of "Gremlins 2: The New Batch".
Of course, I guess if you wanted to include video from that, you could just find the rom for it.
But if for some reason you could use the cartridge, let me know.

Anyone else see this? It’s on the official Star Wars site.
They found an old 11 minute promotional video for Star Wars merchandise, from 1979.
Pretty cool that they posted the footage online.
It’s in flash though…but my guess would be that someone here could download it off of the site…
I think it would make a neat little extra on a dvd…

I brought this up awhile ago, but there didn't seem to be much interest.
But yeah, I think it's a great idea. It would be cool to offer all of the bonus discs that people miss or just don't have access to.
Honestly, I don't like these promotions. I think if people shell out money for a dvd set, they should get the same thing as everyone. I don't know why studios make deals with stores to sell exclusive discs. People should be able to buy from and support whatever store they want, without feeling like they missed out. I guess I can understand other things like lithographs, or mini posters, etc. But when it comes to the dvds, they should all be the same with all th extras.

Anyway, yeah, it's a great idea. I actually do have the two Scrubs bonus discs from Best Buy. I'd be happy to share those, along with other ones that I have. I will find all the ones that I've gotten and post the titles here. What discs do other people have?

I finally finished downloading this off of MySpleen.
I just wanted to say great job putting it together!!! Thanks for doing this!!

It's cool seeing all of the cut scenes together as a kind of "movie".
All Star Wars video games should be treated to a dvd like this!! Awesome stuff!!
And the menus and artwork rock too!!!

Anyway, great job, and I'm looking forward to more releases from you!

Man, I would love to have a copy of "Friday the 13th: Previews and TV Spots"!! That sounds so cool!! If anybody could help me out, I would be very greatful!!

How's work coming on Part 4 uncut and JGTH uncut? It would be so sweet to see these. I would love to have a copy of all the Firday 13th films uncut someday...I don't even have part 1 uncut yet...

Hi all,

I am a fan of the DC animated cartoons (Batman, JLA, etc.) and would like to eventully collect it all on dvd.
There was a Flash/Shockwave based cartoon that the WB had on its website called "Gotham Girls". (For those interested, the cartoon featured Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Harley... The cartoons were 2-3 minutes long, and there were 3 "seasons", each with 10 episodes. They're kind of fun and are considered DCAU canon by purists... All of the cartoon download links can be found on the "Gotham Girls" wikipedia page...)

Anyway, I would really like to archive these webisodes onto dvd. However, my efforts to convert them have been thwarted everytime.
On my mac, I've tried just exporting them from quicktime, since they play in quicktime, but the video quality is bad and it won't export audio.
On a PC, I've tried 'swftoavi', Magic SWFtoAVI' and a few others. Nothing is working perfectly. Either the audio/video is out of sync, or the quality is bad, or something else.

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on converting these files.
They are .swf files, flash/shockwave. All have video and audio.
One thing to note, which could be a problem, is that some of them are interactive files where normally when watching them, one would click on certain parts of the screen.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your time!!

I'm not sure which release you have seen. But I have the Anchor Bay Extended Television Cut version, and it is definitely in anamorphic widescreen!!
And the best part is that not only does it contain the extra tv scenes, but also all the gore and everything from the theatrical release!!

Man, I would really love it if someone made a good release of this with the footage and other stuff out there. There's another thread somewhere about trying to make a good release. But it seemed no one had a n actual copy of the tape...anyway...this sounds cool.

Hey,

I thought this would be a good place to ask this. I was wondering if anybody had a dvd copy of the Twin Peaks pilot?
As many of you know, the official Region 1 dvd release did not include it because of licensing issues.
I've seen a few copies on ebay, but I thought I'd see if anybody had a copy to torrent or share or whatever.
I've never seen it, and would love to finaly get a chance to.

Yeah, but to me that is a little different...this is available seperately and as far as I know, one could still purchase it.

Hey,

I’m not sure if this has been brought up before, but if it has, I apologize and mods please delete my post. I tried to do a search for it, but couldn’t find anything.

Anyway, it’s not much of a project, but I was wondering if anybody tried to collect and torrent/share the exclusive bonus discs that come with certain releases from certain stores. These are like the ones that you can only get from Best Buy with the first 50 or so copies of a DVD title. I know this is right on the edge of sharing something that is commercially available, but I wasn’t sure how close to the edge it was or how risky. I mean, although they were available, they were so in very limited quantities and many people who would like them could not get a hold of them. Especially international fans. Do you think it would be fair to say these discs are “out-of-print”? Anyway, I was just bringing it up and seeing what people thought, and also what bonus discs people had to share.
Here are the ones that I own:

“Raiders of the Lost Ark: Classic Featurette” - Best Buy bonus disc with Indiana Jones box set
“Friday the 13th: Forever Jason” - Best Buy bonus disc with Friday the 13th box set
“Scrubs: Bonus DVD” - Best Buy bonus disc with Scrubs: Season 1

Anyway, just thought I’d throw that out there. I know there are more out there, and more to come. One example is, of course, “The Story of Star Wars” when you buy ROTS dvd at Wal-Mart. I’m sure a lot of people will want that, but not everybody will be able to get it.

Anyone up trying to compile all of this stuff on a great new dvd? I can help gather the videoclips and photos I have and send them to someone who wants to take a shot at this disc. We just need someone who can author the discs and wants to. Then people can send them the footage/photos...

That German video is pretty cool too. If someone can translate it, adding english (or any other language) subtitle shouldn't be a problem.
