I liked Cabin Fever for what it was.....entertaining and funny. A bad movie IMO is one you watch and just don't ever remember it voluntarily. Like if you you know you've seen it but nothing about it comes to mind when asked.

IMO again, I think Firewall was a bad movie. I watched it one night and a few days later it came up again and I'd completely forgot I'd seen it. Nothing was memorable to me in any way.

IMO Luke said "your highness" just to be kind of cocky in a very small way. He's obviously not going to show any formal respect to the enemy he has no respect for and doesn't care about. He's merely mocking The Emperor's position just as Palpatine is mocking Luke in the next line by calling him a Jedi even tho he really could care less.

It's this kind of "loaded" dialogue that is missing in the PT. Nothing is subtle there like this mocking banter between Luke and Palp. It would have been drawn out and obvious, not natural.

And again, IMO, yes something can be read into to much. This borders on my version of that but to each his own. If you've got the time and the interest a little out of the box in-depth analyzing sin't so bad. It's picking apart things that are so obviously shallow that is kinda lame....like Jar Jar.

The only reason I think they'd not hardcode the subtitles for alien speaking is because not everyone that watches the movies speaks english and if softcoded subs are used it'll either make a mess over the hardcoded ones or have to be off the frame and cause the same framing problems.

....maybe. I'm sure this kinda situation has happened before and worked out fine.

I got a $35 a few years that plays every disc you can imgine (any region, PAL, burned anything)....except DivX/XviD. My set-up is the same as yours and everything looks fine. It only occasionally won't eject a disc but I think it's an individual problem. Mine was a CyberHome but I'm not sure if they still exist...Wal Mart and Best Buy are the best places to look. Bring a reference DVD and make them let you try it on a TV around if you really want to.

I predict a day of no posting and propose simply mourning and coping in the form of rediculously somber viewing of the OT and a holiday each year after.

Same goes for Hammill, Ford, and Fisher.

But on topic.....every time I heard his name or voice I thought of the "Stick it up 'is butt-ole!" joke from South Park...or....Family Guy....or whatever it was on (the one with Russell Crowe fighting' 'round the world maybe?)
