STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

Here, I'll post it again. I don't remember exactly what I typed, but I'll do it to the best of my recollection:

Adywan, I noticed you didn't include usernames that got banned from the credits of ANH Revisited. I know you said you won't be making further changes to ANH: R, but if you change your mind could you include my username in the credits?

And then this was unrelated and I think I posted it earlier and I thought I asked this stuff already, that's why I deleted it.

Why did Lucasfilm pointlessly censore these shots when they should have been working on continuity errors and color correction? It's not like these shots would bring the movie's rating above a PG?

now i have to say i am very suspicious about who you really are now janskeet. i see you have now deleted your post but not before i had a chance to read it. now strangely you mentioned the fact that i hadn't put banned members names in the credits. The you asked if there was a chance that if i re-did ANH:R that you could be in the credit, even though you didn't join until AFTER i had finished ANH:R. Now the only member that posted in the ANH:R thread that i didn't put in the credits was zigfried. now you attitude suddenly has become even more like zigfried and your wording is very similar. why delete the post that drops you in it with what seems to be your true identity yet you fail to delete any other posts

goodbye zigfried, you failed yet again to get your name in the credits of a revisited project.

First of all, I deleted that post because I feared that it was going to be redundant and that would be the last straw with you and you would ignore me. I didn't see ocpmovie on the credits, that's who I was referring to when I noticed you didn't put all the usernames on the credits. Please, I want to be on the ESB: R credits. I'm not this zigfried dude.

I liked the way you re-edited this sequence Adywan. I always found it a bit odd they have this long conversation before checking R2's message and Luke just blurts out clone wars out of nowhere. I find the cut between Obi Wan saying, "yes, I was once a jedi knight the same as your father" and Luke saying "no my father didn't fight in the wars" to be a bit abrupt, but it might be because I am used to seeing the long pause as Obi Wan leans back.

Oh no, now Adywan ignored me. I hope this doesn't mean I'm off of the Empire Revisited credits. I do think I have contributed a few good ideas to this project and I hope Adywan and the others don't ignore me indefinitly. I don't think I have much to offer for the ESB: R but for the ROTJ: R I think I have a lot of ideas to contribute to so hopefully Adywan will unignore me when that time comes.

Adywan took my spelling errors the wrong way. I was just trying to help, I'm not trying to be annoying or nitpicky.

I noticed in this frame the colour suddently jumps brighter for like 2 or 3 frames and then goes back to its consistent colour tone used throughout. Adywan, I'm sure you picked this up in colour correction?

Adywan, were you going to do anything about Vader's inconsistent skin tone on the back of his head? As you can see on the right his skin is much more yellow than the left:

I found a spelling error:

You mentioned this twice. First at #5 and then again at #34:

I always liked this shot. I read that the executioner model was actually smaller than the stardestroyer models. Is this true?

He's confirmed that he will be using McDiarmid's voice, but restoring the original dialogue as much as he possibly can, which is supported by what we hear in the trailer, which is mostly the original dialogue with McDiarmid's voice. He also mentioned that he doctored the "Yes ... " at the end so it sounds like he's saying "Yes" twice, when really it's the same one, just digitally altered. I doubt he'd go through that much work just for the trailer if it's not going to be that way in the final product.

See the problem I have is this isn't just an idea that sprung into his head. This was suspose to be the Emperor's master plan. So I think that instead of Vader seggesting the idea to the emperor, the emperor should suggest the idea to Vader, if you catch my drift.

Watch the trailer, dude. The entire conversation is heard, played throughout the trailer.

Are you just assuming that, or did Adywan actually confirm that? I saw the trailer but the edit doesn't come out until next year and even though he used that dalogue in the trailer, it doesn't mean it is going in the final edit.

Adywan, have you come to a conclusion yet of what dialogue you are going to have in the Emperor scene? I think that it needs be to changed. As it stands now, the Emperor wants Luke dead until Vader suggests he could be turned. But in ROTJ, the emperor acts like it was his master plan all along to turn Luke at the expense of Vader. I hope you don't listen to George Lucas's commentary in the '04 DVDs because it doesn't make any sense. He claims that Vader wants Luke to kill the Emperor and the Emperor wants Luke to kill Vader. The way I always saw it was the Emperor wanted to turn Luke at the expense of Vader and Vader wanted Luke to join them and there was none of this "only a master and apprentice" stuff. This has been discussed before in the General Star Wars forum.

and janskeet, please at least bother to read whats already been discussed in this thread (and the ANH:R thread too for that matter) because its becoming a bit annoying when you keep asking questions that have already been discussed in length and fully answered already. you have been a member here for almost a year now so can't use the newbie excuse. if you can't be bothered to do that then please don't be surprised when people can't be bothered to answer your questions

I apologize for my imaturity, but even though I have been a member since July '08, I really haven't gotten into this until a few weeks ago so I have really only been doing this for several weeks. I will search the forum before I ask questions from now on.
