The hard drive recovery cost so much because that's how much it costs! Two companies wouldn't even attempt it it was so bad.
If you want to see the invoice I can post it. Plus, my intention is to return the money to the people who donated within the next 12 months. I don't like being in debt to people. But I am very grateful to the eight people that helped.
As for backups. I am working from three different drives of rather large sizes. So no, no back up was made unfortunately. It's very hard to commit any more time to a project when you have a career and a young family. Unless you want to say goodbye to one of them, which I don't
DVDs are going out today and tomorrow.

Ok so this DVD did get made, by me. Unfortunately my 'client' wanted some time to be able to ship these around to the big collectors before the rest of us could get our hands on them.
If you have a search around on google, it seems as though someone has uploaded it.

Jorni_Kavar - Whilst there are some audio differences highlighted, Star Wars Begins does not list them all. It would have been all to easy to get bogged down listing every change. But I wanted to keep things flowing along nicely. So i've listed some as points of interest and others have been ignored. Star Wars Begins is by no means definitive. Thanks for your suggestions though.
Glad some more of you are able to see this. For those of you hanging out for the DVD version, good on you! You may also be interested to know that the DVD version is updated as of yesterday!

None, whenever I try to convert that .rm to another format it goes out of sync. Shame, it's a great little piece and one I would love to upload to youtube (with your permission of course).

No, I was talking about the video associated with that article. It was broadcast on BBC London news. Adywan has just contacted me, informing me that he still has it.
I decided long ago, when I had it on my sky+, not to include it in Star Wars Begins. But I just wanted to review it.

Yes, Larry Cuba, the guy who did the vector graphics of the trench run worked from a painting/drawing of the Death Star with the dish on the equator. Hence the outcome.
