none - Thanks - good to know. Also, I've got those first two youtube vids. Cool ones aren't they. Thanks for the others. I will check them out.
digitalfreaknyc - Would you be able to send me the stuff you have please? I am happy to provide you with discs and pay for postage.
none - My parents have bought the Amrstrong book for me for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I will read the articled on wired too. Thanks man!
skyjedi2005 - I agree that Raiders could have filled one book. I have ordered the 1981 novel sized making of book from Amazon too. Hopefully it will have some interesting info in there. Thanks for the heads up on the making of Doom doco. I will check it out.
You guys are fantastic! Thanks so much.

Just heard from Brian Muir and his wife to say that they really liked #starwarsbegins Cool!
I got the Raiders stand alone DVD through the mail this morning. Some good little 'new' snippets amongst those special features.

Thanks for this cover, I recently burnt all your documentaries to DVD and I need nice covers on them. Great work with them all!

I agree.
They really are amazing.
Oh, yes. Here you go http://db.tt/DFEJ1vh
I've got that article thanks mate.
Spent the afternoon working out how I can do this project in HD with the resources I've got. Snore.
Griff, not sure what I need yet! Will probably be in touch though.

I have 1080p versions of both the old CGI cliff transfer and the new (2009), non-CGI cliff transfer of RAIDERS.
The new one looks fantastic, much better than the DVD and its HD equivalent.
EDIT: I found some comparitve screencaps illustrating the difference between the two transfers:

I saw that the VFX guy from Moon contacted you! That's pretty awesome! Wouldn't that make your filmumentary for Moon official?
Like the title screen.
Thanks to ColinK I have some DVD's to start working with. I am in the market for a new imac. The G5 that made Star Wars Begins is getting on a bit now. Hopefully I kind find the funds for one soon. Why does big expenditure always coincide with my tax bill?!
Hopefully I can make a proper start soon. Got some interesting reading done and found a few cool little interview bits I can use in addition to the official stuff too.
Also heard from the VFX Supervisor on Moon yesterday. He said he would gladly help me out if I ever wanted to do a Filmumentary on Moon. Very cool indeed!
In the meantime, my friend Nathan knocked up this title screen. What do we think?

Skyjedi2005, thanks for the info.
Jonno, sounds cool.
Doubleofive, I didn't know about the CGI mountain.
Silverwood, that would be great. Thanks so much.
Sounds great guys! Thanks
09:25 I think I just heard the end of a Vic Armstrong interview on BBC Radio 4. Anyone able to rip it for me? I am about to leave the the country.

Anybody know if there was a Story LP for Radiers?
Ok. So it looks like I need.
The Widescreen laser disc of Raiders
The original Making of Raiders (best quality available)
The Trilogy Best Buy DVD
ET Indiana Jones Behind The Adventure (YouTube)
Indy IV looks back at the Original Trilogy (YouTube)
Scans of the deleted scenes photos
Scans of the deleted scenes from the comic adaptation
Is anyone able to help?
Thanks for the link AvP but it would be great if someone would be kind enough to send me the DVDs.
Thanks
JD

Do you have the "bonus bonus" disc? Best Buy had a second bonus disc available when the set came out originally.
I do indeed. List updated.

Of course the name is perfect.
It's not "Jaws", but it'll do. ;-)

So, are you planning on highlighting the digital special effects fixes that were made in 2003 for the DVD release? If so, you might need a transfer of the widescreen laserdisc for comparison. I could probably help you out with this.
Probably also worth reviewing the bits and pieces mentioned in <a href="http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/The-Indiana-Jones-Project/topic/2535/">this thread</a>.
Thanks. Love the new avatar Moth3r!
Hey all,
With the recent success of Star Wars Begins, I’ve found motivation to embark on the above project.
This project will be released on Vimeo.com in HD on the 6th Feb 2012.
Thanks
