I’m going to be brutally honest with you, JackNapier… Your posts here read like they were written by ChatGPT.
Well like I told the last heckler, they’re not. If you don’t like them then just don’t react to them, or leave this thread.
The film Anatomy Of A Fall is a fascinating murder mystery that touches upon the unknowns of a murder trial. The movie touched upon the problems that are also presented when a child becomes put in the middle of a dispute between parents. Well deserving of its awards.

Had sex for the first time in 18 years.
It was fucking awesome!
The film Nosferatu (2024) is a fantastic addition to the vampire mythos. The acting was superb, the writing Shakespearean, the effects phenomenal, the score bone chilling, and the cinematography masterful. A modern horror masterpiece If there ever was one! I highly recommend it!

The film Poor Things is a story whose plot is the strangest I have ever had the opportunity to watch. This “movie” has notions on feminism, misogyny, and philosophy. I have no idea how to feel about this. Anyone else have this problem?

Todd McFarlane’s Spwan (1997) is an excellent show with plenty of heart and hurt. The writing is stellar, the visuals are terrifying , the voice acting is Shakespearean quality, and the score is hauntingly perfect. There are two caveats to this series, the first is that its technically unfinished as it was cancelled during its third season, and the second is that it has high levels of violence and nudity. Not meant for the faint of heart, and certainly not for anyone looking for a story with a happy ending. A hard watch and a must see for fans of the darker side of comic book mediums.
The film Abigail is a mediocre offering with very few redeeming qualities. The best it has to offer is the overly repeated trope of the slasher villain being the hero of the story. Not great, but not terrible either. The music was subpar at best, and the acting was except for a few notable exceptions lackluster. Not a must see, Vampire fans give this a pass.

The film Godzilla Minus One is a fantastic addition to the endearing saga of everyone’s favorite female badass gargantuan monster! A must see, well deserving of its Oscar wins!

The Chernobyl mini-series (2019) is a shockingly powerful and deeply disturbing real look at the actual truth of the disaster. Everything about it was both well-crafted and respectful to the real people who were involved. The sound design was stunning, as were the visuals and the sheer haunting awe of it all. A must see for fans of history, biopics, audiovisual terror, and for those select few that have a strong stomach. I highly recommend it, but with a caveat that you only watch it if you are certain that its right for you.
My co-worker’s wife is from Russia and lived there when the disaster happened. She said that out of all the Chernobyl-related things she has watched, the 2019 miniseries is by far the closest to the actual events that happened and the atmosphere of the country and people that lived there at the time.
That’s really cool

The Lord of The Rings War Of The Rohirrim is a well done adaptation of the original short story by J.R.R. Tolkien. Though it did not capture the magic of the previous offerings, I still recommend it for fans of both the books and movies if only for the return albeit posthumously of an old favorite.

Looking forward to the new special
The first part of the movie adaptation of Wicked serves its source well! A must see and a brilliant condemnation of bigotry, scapegoating, racism, bullying, misogyny, and the lies we tell to gain power!

The movie Moana 2 is a mediocre offering that is outpaced by both its visuals and music. It also breaks any potential future narrative conflict by quite literally deifying a major character. Aside from these notes it is a solid movie.
