I'll have a beta site up for testing this coming weekend or I'll set up a webcam, smear mayonnaise all over my ass, and let you guys throw boloney slices at it while the whole world watches.

Superman II and Superman III extended (Released)
Time
From what I hear, Singer is only using Brando audio in a sort of flashbacky type of scene. That Brando footage will definitely be on the Supes II SE in some capacity. I just hope there is a confirmation soon that Donner will be involved in the new cut. In any event, I will be camped out for this one.

Superman Returns, on the other hand... LOL. Sorry, but that costume (why they would use the color scheme from the evil Superman suit in Supes III I have NO idea) and the guy in it just don't have me convinced yet. I have faith in Singer, but so far the only two things that have me slightly excited are the fact that they are using Williams main themes and that from what I have seen, Spacey is a ringer for Hackman's Luthor. Too bad they couldn't just get Gene involved again. That would have been geektastic. But I understand they are going for a more "serious" tone here. At least it seems so so far.

Star Wars Radio Drama - Special Edition

You know what really sucks ass is that this is coming back to me now. When I won the eBay auction, it was supposed to be for that LE set. The pics and description were for it. And the SOB sent me the regular box set instead. My dumb ass sat on it for like two months before opening it and realizing that it was the regular edition. At that point there was nothing I could do about it.

Oh well, if I get this SE set (trying to dl it on demonoid, but it is slooooooow), then I the box set will just be gathering dust anyway.

Like i said...the set with just empire and SW had a bonus disc with the Making of the first two plus deleted scenes, promos, etc. Guess I got the right one I always saw that the Trilogy set had a bonus disc as well.

Well, the trilogy set that I have (big ass box) doesn't have anything extra at all. Guess I got screwed (though I got it off eBay cheap, so I guess I shouldn't bitch).

Ah. Well, the way things are going (I think there's a planned Chasing Amy re-release), maybe there'll be a Dogma X DVD...

I've heard rumblings of a new Chasing Amy disc, too. It would be cool if that did come to pass, lord knows there the reasons to buy Kevin Smith's DVDs just never stop. Although, I never did buy the original issue of Clerks because by the time it came down enough in price for me to want it, they had mentioned a 10th anniversary edition a few times (this was around 1999 or so), so I decided to wait. Man, did that pay off.

Personally I'm happy with the Chasing Amy Criterion release. But considering what Kev comes up with, I might pick it up. I passed on the Mallrats disc. Love the flick, but I think the Universal release was good enough. The extended stuff belonged on the cutting room floor on that one. I wish he would get that damn Evening II: Evening Harder disc out. Loved the first set. Laughed my ASS off at that one. Something they haven't released on disc yet (and I have on VHS if anyone is interested in capping it) is the tour that O'Hallaran did of the filming locations. That would be a nice bonus feature.

Um, I always did kinda like A4 (at least better than the theatrical cut of 3), but of course I'm pretty much a sucker for anything Joss Whedon writes.
Go watch it again and imagine some Firefly cast members in it and you'll like it much better.

I love Firefly and I REALLY loved Serenity (seen it twice now at the fan screenings), but AR still makes me very ill. Honestly, I guess it's really just those last fifteen minutes or so that break it for me. And besides... Joss didn't have final cut and there were so many cooks involved in that screenplay, who knows what was Joss' and what wasn't?

It does have deleted scenes but it is not a rip off of Deleted Magic or Forgotten Scenes (as was first suspected) and would be of interest to anyone who likes those two titles.

There are trailers I have never seen before, Wookie Groomer style split screen viewing comparing various scenes of 1977/2004 - 1997/2004 and well laid out written narrative.

Sounds cool. Me loves my deleted scenes. Hopefully this will hit myspleen or the newsgroups. Or I might have to actually *gasp* buy a copy.
