STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Sky_ - First the terrific 'Adywan' logo, now this... This artwork of the main characters was always my favourite poster. Your cover is TERRIFIC, and Darth has a red lightsabre on the artwork at last! I will definately be getting this as well as Adywan's own version. Great job!

Thanks. And Adywan did indeed do some good work with the 'Visual Comparisons' shots.

By the way, I hope you type in that 'YouTube' video link I just put up on the 'General Star Wars Discussion' topic, to check out that real-life 'Imperial Walker' wannabe! It's scary...

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

It seems that real-life 'Imperial Walkers' are just around the corner if this development is anything to go by! I wouldn't like to be an enemy if they start attaching weapons-fire to these babies. Imagine a horde of these things bounding 'bug-like' towards you, as it does at the end of the video...

Be amazed.

doubleofive - Is there any chance of putting a shot of the initial Adywan Ponda Baba 'hoof' arm from the XVID up for me here? Seeing those shots above sure makes me wish we had a glimpse of it in the altered shot AS WELL... Thanks.

p.s. - Your finished 'Visual Comparisons' turned out great!

Adywan - Please take as long as it takes with the DVD-9 release, as it is worth waiting for to get just right.

I was blown away by your XVID when I got it, and am finally getting the DVD-5 later today, and look forward to it's more finished, and higher quality presentation, along with it's 'extras'. I'm looking forward to getting your 'PURIST' edition too!

BMadden - That 'StarWarsArchives' link looks very interesting, thanks for that.

Kill Bill (* unfinished project *)

Ghostcut - Nice to see you here, and this sounds like a great project, and I like the idea of the 'Sin City'-style black and white uncut sequences with flashes of red blood. But I also like the colour pallete of that sequence too, so maybe you'd consider SOME of it to be in full-colour also? Either decision will look great though. Good luck with your efforts on this one.

doubleofive and Adywan - These comparison shots are terrific work. I look forward to putting a comment on ALL of them over the coming days, with my personal ratings of awesomeness or otherwise. The WHOLE project is totally awesome of course.

As far as Ponda Baba's arm, as we know the pistol was waved by his sidekick, and Adywan has ensured that he now pays the price in his edit, but I meant it would be great to have seen a hint of the severed half of the orange clad Adywan arm in the frame somewhere too, as a way of referencing the original shot, and showing that Ben REALLY did the business with his two swipes.

That thankyou was to both ron2112 and doubleofive.

Just a thought for doubleofive and Adywan - Could you perhaps add comparison shots of any changes from the initial XVID version compared to the final DVD versions? - Such as the change from 'Ponda Baba's' cut arm to his partner's one for instance.

I have come round to the idea of this particular change, but as Ben seems to take TWO swipes at these characters, it sure would have been nice to get even a glimpse of Ponda Baba's orange clad limb too...
