yeah they maintain it quite well in Ephesus. One of the workers was saying they close down portions of the site to rebuild and maintain it. especially areas where thousands of people walk on each day like certain temples and such. A place i really want to visit is egypt.

i have a lot of cool pics to post on here. what a great idea for a thread sean!

this is a temple in Ephesus, Turkey. believe it or not, it was the first shot we took and it turned out well. unfortunately we were on a guided tour so we didn't get to go into the temple.

i'm happy to report that after some exfoliation, my legs are now a bronze tan, they look good! it's too bad the weather is crap and i can't wear shorts or skirts. but that's fine.

ric i can totally relate to the hating job thing. i can't stand my job either, and the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that i put in my notice on sunday. the thing i hate even more is how a co-worked tried to guilt and harass me into removing my resignation and it was soo NOT in her place to do so. but yeah that's soo done with. at least one stressful thing is taken care of.

yes i thought the movie was good. and there were only a few things that bothered me that you guys have already brought up. one being how her grandfather wasn't really her blood relative (didn't understand the logic in making him some random that brought her up) and then of course how she didn't meet her brother in the end. but i guess they had to change the movie slightly as most of the time movies do that when based on books.

since this superman movie is suppose to pick up where smallville left off, does that mean that smallville is over. because they never said it was the series finale, just the season. i can't wait for this movie to come out though, i think it will be good. even if it is a little bit sappy.

okay so tonight we were suppose to see MI3 (which i soo didn't wanna see) but then there were tickets for the 10:30 show left for the DaVinci Code, so my mum and bro were like yeah lets just go to it. so i went.
i'm super tired, so i'll talk more about it tomorrow, but it met my expectations. a few things could have been better. but paul bettey did a great job as silas and tom wasn't so bad himself. ian was cast well, he did a good playing playing villian once again. funny how both his movies this summer he is a 'bad guy'. anyways off to bed today was long!

omg. you guys are gonna love this. so the other day as i was sitting outside tanning i figured, why waste time out here, when i can go to the store and buy a tan in a bottle! after talking to my best friend who suggested the self tanner build-a-tan, i looked around but didn't see it and went home. well i found one at home, and was putting it on last night and now i think my legs are slightly orange. haha like not super noticable but they def don't look like the burnt tan. so basically the moral of the story is i learned my lesson and am sticking to doing things the long way to avoid that self-tanner orange color!

yeah i think he's been miscast as well. in the paper today there was a review that said it was good but 'messy'. not exactly a good word to describe a movie

oh i saw the last few minutes of the show. it looked pretty bad. The OC was TERRIBLE. like they killed of marissa and now the show is gonna suck when it returns in sept. i hate that they killed one of the main characters!

I totally agree with you. Some guys do fit the stereotype. whereas some are just damn hot . but in high school i was friends with this girl who i knew from band. (yes i was in band and guess what i played the flute. and YES my best friend and i went to band camp and one time we shoved our flutes....

) she was very much what you'd call a 'tech-computer-games-person' and she did fit that whole geeky image, but then at grad or prom as you call it in america she looked really good. she dyed her hair blue to match her dress! which was something nobody would have really expected.
