You my friend, have way, way too much time on your hands - But I agree. The whole 'edit copy paste' they done with the prequels did really bug me.

This didn't happen in the OT. With the Hoth battle or the Endor battle, it was just one huge, great cue, and the whole thing was kept in contrast.

I always thought that Empire especially felt it was like one big long score. It just seemed to flow perfectly!

Man...I've been moving house. So at the moment I'm kind of living with the in-laws (nice

) and my parents (even better

). Our new place needs a bit of work done before we can move in, so it's all fun and games. And the only PC I get to go on is here at work, but I've not been at here that much since the move.

Can't wait till it's all bloody sorted.

Ok the I have a few questions.

Fist off let me say I loved this film, so I'm not here to slag it off.

How does Supes travel to Krypton? Does he fly? How long does it take to get there? Does he hold his breath?

Once there how does he survive? I mean, when he's at Krypton, he's just a normal bloke right? But there's nothing there

And where does he get that spaceship from? Did he just make it?

Other than that, I think everything is quite clear

Well I just got back from watching Superman and I thought it was just great.
It had everything for me. Action, emotion and a pretty good plot. Brandon Routh IS Superman. I think he pulled it off perfectly.
Even my mate who I went with loved it, and he's a fussy git when it comes to films. He hated Spiderman 2, thought it was shit. Though Batman Begins was just meh - which I did too really. Superman kicked ass all over BB -imo of course.
And don't you just hate it when your sitting next to the nerdy bunch. I know we're all nerds on here when it comes to Star Wars, but to see it from a different point of view is quite amusing. They laughed at all the 'in' jokes that not many understood, (I did but didn't laugh

) but bless 'em.

Great film...I was all excited when the title credits started. It just wouldn't have been the same without the good ol' Superman theme. I also thought the suit looked much better, so much better than the bright Red and Blue...and no Bridget Jones style Big pants.

It's just a great ride of emotions. Loved it...now I have to take the missus to see it next week. Yay!!

So with Pirates 2 and Supes, that makes two out of two good blockbusters this summer so far.

The thing I don't get with this Donner cut is this- If they sacked Donner 3/4 after making the film, how can they finish a film off that's not complete? They hired Lester to finish Supes2 off, so this Donner cut must still have parts of what Lester filmed. Right?

I don't explain myself too well, but you get what I mean.

And pissing SR still hasn't opened in the uK yet!! Friday can't come too soon. I'm just dying to see this film!!
