I think the Ewok problem in ROTJ could be fixed by replacing them with Chewbacca's race or putting them more in the background and having Chewbacca's race help them out maybe?

However, for Empire I recommend the Empire have Hoth surrounded except in the few areas where we see the rebels attempt to escape. I also think there should be at least some Rebel ships in space get blown up by the Empire as well. Although I don't think it likely ...

So, how exactly would he be able to insert a race of Wookiees into the Endor battle?? And, errr, you're kinda missing the point of the Ewoks.

This thread is seriously becoming a fanboys wet dream. Do this, he should do that. There's only so much a person can do with the material given, try and remember that.

We heard you the first time!! :)

Personally, I like Empire the way it was. It was perfect. The only changes I'd like to see from the special edition are the same as most views here...Change Fett's voice back and remove the Shuttle scene...oh and the Emperor could be chopped so the dialog makes sense.

Everything else is just fine. And I'm not talking about the sfx, sure they could be cleaned up and what not, but do we really need added scenes here and there for the sake of it??

At the moment, adigitalman's version of Empire is the only edit I watch. He's done all the changes needed to make Empire what it was. A great film. Not that hacked piece of crap that came out in 97.

Now I am really confused by what you said, lol. I don't think either the ESB or the early ROTJ shirt looks like the ANH one. Can someone get some good quality stills?

He means while frozen in carbonite. The shirt they used for the mold is from ANH.

Well, I think that's what Ady means.

Final one sheet

Looks a lot like the prequel posters to me.

Thats because its Drew Struzan, who did the prequel posters. I think his artwork is awesome. He's one of the top onesheet artists in the world.

Yeah I know that man, I'm just saying it looks like the prequel poster. Maybe the artist should try something new for a change.
Nice poster though it is, just not that original.

Anyone else here have a love/hate relation with Revenge of the sith ?
Time
Ok! I like Sith. I like it for what it is...the end to a trilogy. I like the pacing, the music, the colours, even the acting is miles better than the first two. Yeah, there are shit moments, but, I dunno, there's something I just really like about Revenge of the Sith.

A little story....

Just after ROTS was released in the cinema I managed to get hold of a decent pirate copy. My mate came over one night. The missus was out so happy days. These were the days when I used to pop and snort a lot of bad things (kids...drugs are bad..don't try this at home). Anyhow, my mate had some pills..Popped a few and sat down to watch Sith. Man, I just fell in love with that film there and then (may have been the drugs..who knows)..But from that day on I just really like watching, IMO the best of a bad bunch!

Oh...check this out...I think it's from a forum member here...goodmusician....it's a different take on the ending Ep3...and done pretty well!

I'll give Episode One something...
Time
I can say the usual crap about be disappointed the first time I watched TPM, because I was.....
But, when the film was released on VHS I found a new love for it.
And still to this day I can watch the last 45 mins of the film (When the battle starts) and still think it's probably one of the best arranged 45 mins of action that I've seen on screen.
For me it just works. Sure some of the Gungan scenes are pretty bad, but inter cut with the space battle and Lightsaber duel, it seems to have a nicely paced flow to it all. And then it has maybe the best scene in the film...Yoda and Obi-Wans conversation. Just a shame that AOTC was the biggest pile of wank I'd seen in a long time.

I like ROTS though...Again, there's a fast paced energy to that film.

LOST
Time
Don't forget that Jack and Claire are half brother and sister. Not that either of them know yet...but by the time they leave the island, I guess they will.
Programs getting stranger by the week. Next episode should be a goody. Desmond's usually are. And hopefully we find out what happened to the chopper they were all on.
