Check out the following clip from Seinfeld on YouTube here -- at the 3:30 mark, Jerry's in the coffee shop, then we get an establishing shot of his apartment building, followed by Jerry in the building talking to Newman. The passage of time is implied here by the establishing shot, just as the shuttle shot in ESB implies Needa leaving one Star Destroyer and boarding the other.

I like the following of Vader, especially being he's a main character. If you wanna chop off scenes because of their slowness, there are other scenes I could see hacked, but they seem to have a built in immunity to criticism because they were there from the beginning, and these Vader's shuttle scenes would have had a built in immunity from being cut if they were there since 1980. I assure you, most fans would complain if they were cut (if that were the case), pacing or not, you could make that argument about other scenes too. Besides, the shuttle scenes only lasted few seconds.

There is no need to add any sort of additional scenes in ESB. This movie is most flawless one in the whole saga (minus cosmetic improvements and a bit of de-SEing). Adding the DS2 or any mention of it (or endor) is totally unnecessary and steps into GL's SE changes territory in that its been put in just because it can.

Hell, I guess if someone preferred the spine, cover, or logo of someone else's work, it'd be an easy fix to paste those over my version

(Not that I want anyone to do this and upload it. It's just a suggestion as a quick photoshop edit for those who have one or more different covers.)

In my town, I've never heard it used in any other context ('cept as a general expletive). If it's different elsewhere, I was unawares. I just assumed (wrongly) that it was the same everywhere.
