STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Come on girls, calm down.

Y'know, I wanted Adyman to remove the sand on the Wookies foot, and he didn't. I wanted Ady to remove the snowflake on the Wookies foot, and he probably won't.

Like many have said (again and again) it's HIS edit He'll do want HE wants to do. Accept it.

For me personally, I couldn't give two hoots. As long as Fetts original voice is back, and Vader's landing on the Star Destroyer at one of the most fluid and best scenes of the film is gone, then I'll be happy. (I'm happy coz I know that's gonna happen).

I do remember as a kid watching ESB for the first time at the cinema in 80, thinking why the TIE fighters were blue-ish all of a sudden. But hey I was young and naive...what did I know...Not much more than I do now I suppose!

Anyhow, back on topic...this bloody snowflake...is it gone or not?

Did you see it? ;) (here)

Ha!...I missed that. Keep it, it is almost Christmas after all.

Also, has anyone wondered what the hell those red dudes around the Emperor in ROTJ were supposed to be (you know, Darth Solo's avatar)? Yeah, I know they were SUPPOSED to be his guards, but being that Darth kinda threw him down a pit and other than the guest appearances they don't do anything.

Adywan: I know this is ROTJ and not EMPIRE, but when you finally get to ROTJ, just delete those guys out. I know it's 3 or so years from now, but there's no point in showing a gun on the wall if you're not going to use it (as John Ford would say).

They look cool. Also, Palps does say "Guards, leave us" when Luke and his Daddy arrive. Plus (don't all shout at me at once here) they do the same thing in Sith (nothing - but look cool), so the continuity does work on that one instance.

RE the Luke with a blue saber in Jedi, that was changed simply because the blue did not stand up well against the Tattooine blue sky. My assumption would be that the green was changed to red on Hoth for a similar reason.

I always took it that Luke had to build a new saber because Ben had his in ANH. When he was struck down he obviously couldn't get it.

What the bloody hell are you talking about man???

I prefer it without his extra line.

Me too. :)

Can I get a 'me three'?

Definitely agree there...

After watching the film sooooo many times, it was like a wtf moment when I first heard the line. But then, so were a lot of the SE changes...oh well

Bond 22: Quantum of Solace

ok, finally watched it..

daniel craig really is killing off the bond franchise..

i didn't like casino royale, and this didn't improve craigs acting either..

yes, the stunts were great, i'll give it that...

but the story was subpar, the acting overly dramatic,

and off course there's always the terrible henchmen that cant hit the broadside

of a barn with a machine gun that always miss bond..

to the predicatable plot twists, to the boring climax...yawn..

what happened to this franchise???

i know, i must have been the only person that actually LIKED both

of the timothy dalton versions... although sean connery could never

have been replaced...

maybe they'll replace daniel craig, and try it again soon with someone else?

or maybe they should just let the series die off with whatever dignity (if any)

that is has left..

Well fuck me there's a surprise...a film you didn't like. ;)

Personally, after the slime ball Brosnan, the only way Bond could go was up. I thought Casino Royal was a pretty good Bond flick. Took the whole franchise in a new direction. I like the way Quantum follows on straight from the last film (although I've yet to see it). I'm just glad they've gone a different route from all the the silly gimmicks and bloody invisible cars.

As for Licence to Kill...I though that was one of the better Bonds. Craig and Dalton actually play Bond quite similar. A back to basics Bond.

Hopefully We'll get to see the film this weekend.

Yet ANOTHER DVD boxed set...*sigh*

Yeah, I am curious about a number of things.

First off, whether or not the covers are the same as the original PT releases and the 06 release.

Second, if the Lego Star Wars demo is still there, or if they at least bothered to make them more current.

And finally, if the disc art/labels are still the same (for example, the OT release was done kind of oddly, with a "Disc One" followed by a "Bonus Disc". Seems like you'd either do it, "Disc One" and "Disc Two" or something like "Feature" or no extra label at all and a "Bonus Disc". Seemed odd to have a "Disc One" without a "Disc Two"). Wonder if they changed it or not.

Surprised to hear these are slimline, that is pretty lame, feels like a "budget" sort of thing to do, and these things certianly are not being sold at a budget price.

From what I could tell from opening up the box sets in Blockbuster, the PT DVD's are exactly the same as he original release, apart from being slimline. All the covers are the same, as well as all the bonus material. Same goes with the 06 release, same covers, same bonus. Although I'm not too sure on the Lego demo.

Have no idea about the disc art, but I assume it's the same, seeing how pretty much everything else is.

This place is really started to drain me.....95% of the new threads are all so bloody negative.

it's called the ignore filter...

that makes it a lot easier,

since it's pretty much the same people with the same issues

over and over..

personally, i find it kind of funny though.. so i never ignore anyone,

even skyjedi....ha ha..

If I ignored them all, there'd be nothing left to read.

I'm just having a bad day at work, that's all!
