Cos it's shit!!

Why is it shit? The SE version is better than the original version.

Please can we keep all foul language out of the forums? Its not necessary and shows unintelligence! we also have quite a few youngsters on the forums so show a good and responsible example please?

Oh do behave!!

Ok...I may be wrong here...but..  (and sorry for the pics....all I could find...:) )

We see this view in one part of the film....OK.... Earlier on we see it from a different angle when Vader chokes Ozzle......OK

So the scene when Vader is talking to Palps via the holograme, it's quite obvious it's meant to be the same room, as we see Vader walk, then kneel down, and right behind him is his meditation chamber. But the holo chamber is huge...soooo.....

Watchmen Film
Time

Never even heard of Watchmen untill I too saw the first trailer.

Film was ok....slow in places, didn't really like or care much for any of the characters (they were not nice people) so it was all a bit meh?!?!

And my bloody arse was numb after....very numb!!

I'll give it another shot when released on dvd, chilled out on my sofa in the comfort of my home!

Bingowings: Yes, I've got those tapes from the Executor set somewhere too. The simple lightsaber designs were certainly nicer than the new 'paintings' on the individual versions (I guess it was around this time that LFL decided they needed to reinvent the wheel for every goddamn release!)

No idea if that set is worth anything, though as an aside the documentaries - MOSW, SPFX, CC and FSTJ - look far better on those PAL tapes than anywhere else I've seen them...

Ziz: Unfortunately the other UK rental tapes were a lot less distinctive:

I don't even have these tapes any more, though I doubt they're rare if anyone was inclined to rewShork them...

Shit, this brings back some merories. I have all these vhs tapes. I paid (well I say I paid, my mother really) £56 for ESB bak in 84 when it was first released. Man I wathched that tape to death. Still have them, and all the other vhs released tapes too. I think I own the trilogy including dvd's about 8 times. What a mug!!! ha

And this is the Executor box set covers I modified for DVD

Random memories from 1977-83
Time

Err Happy Birthday then Gaffer man!!

I have so many fond memories, but seeing Jedi for the first time in 83 when I was a wee lad was/is probably my happiest Star Wars time. Man I was just so excited for days.

Saying that, getting my first action figure from Jedi also ranks high up there. It was Ackbar which I had to send off name tags for. It came in a white box, so for a year or whatever it was, I had no idea if this dude was good or bad.

The list goes on and on.

This sounds sad, but Star Wars has brought me so much happiness in my life.

Abrams is Destroying Star Trek like Lucas has Destroyed Star Wars
Time

Errr..Hang on a sec dude...Classic Kirk from the TV shows was pretty bad. Even now, he is ridiculed for his Ov-ER pron-oUN-CING - of certain phrases. If anyone tried to imitate that, they would surely be slated for doing so.

I'm not defending something I've yet to see, but going by the new trailer, it does look like a fun ride!! And for a Star Trek film, that's saying a lot!!

Thanks for the kudos, Imp Fighter.. <:)

Ady: I understand that if anything is to be changed or added, it has to fit the logic of the situation (I can see why you would go back to 5 AT-ATs, being that Veers is essentially the "shock troop first wave" sent quickly to punch a hole for the main assault, which would come AFTER the shield generator was destroyed).   Regardless, everything is looking fantastic and it is just making it even harder to wait for the end result.  You know, it's almost like 1980 all over again waiting for EMPIRE to come out for the first time (and sad as it may be to say, I am looking forward to this more than WATCHMEN)

Note
:  Is it really the 'Avenger' that is the most foremost Stardestroyer here?  The foremost one (seen in this shot) is the one that gets disabled isn't it?   The 'Avenger' is another one that eventually chases after the Millennium Falcon, isn't it?

I believe it is the Avenger, being that it is Captain Needa that is saying: "Good, our first catch of the day".

Eh? That's not Needa who says that!
