The cinema's always empty on the first day of any film. We had advance tickets for both the last 2 films, and found that there was us (5) a handfull of geeks, and an old couple!
We had the best seats in the house!!

Yay!

But ther is a midnight showing on the 18th that I might go to....

And of corse there's the big fuck off day in Lobdon Leicester Square on the 16th, where they will be showing all 6 films in a row.
It costs £50 and the whole place will be filled with SW caharacters, and celebs, Lucas and Hayden may well be there aswel...Dunno man, may go to that too!!!

Ok, so I'm new to this torrent shit.

I d/l 'Balance of the Force' last night...great no worries.
Went to play it, great...played in windows media player...but...No sound!!

Is there a file, plug in or special player I need to play these torrents??

You should watch the ROTJ Directors comm on the DVD..or something on one of the DVD's..coz ol' Lucas says that actually the Ewoks are getting their asses whooped.
Which is true...the Ewoks aren't actually beating the Empire!
It's more luck with Rebels, and Chewie having one of the AT-ST's that makes the real difference, that way enabling Han to gain acces into the Bunker!

Or some shit like that anyway!!!

Trying to justify the furry fuckers is no use!!

Even my girlfriend said that the Ewoks looked fake after seeing them on TV the other day. She was one of those who loved the little shits the first time round! Ahhh so cute!!

You have to keep in mind that the soundtrack is more or less only half of the film.
I'm sure there's a lot more Str Wars type music in the actual film.

I agree with you about the end credits though...does seem to be a mis-match of themes...Doesn't flow very well. But at leat it ends on the same notes as the OT soundtracks..You know with the big fan fare thing, unlike 1 & 2 which just seem to end.

Dunno why they done that with 1 & 2, and it really bugged me

Yeah I saw all the books when I was up Bluewater spending money I don't have.
I'll get the 'visual dic' and 'art of' when I've seen the film.
I've got all the other 'art ofs' and 'visuals' so i may aswell complete the collection.

I did have a sneak peak at them also

And I saw the trailer/demo for the lego game...does look like quite a laugh!

Well I'm trying my hardest to stay spoiler free...at least in terms of the actual story.
I've blown it by flicking through the making of book and seeing pics of a fucked up Anakin, Vader minus his legs etc...

Also I've just listened to the soundtrack, and kinda got how the ending will be...Luke and Leia being held and shown by Mr & Mrs Organa on Alderaan then cut to Owen and Beru on Tatooine...Well going by the music I take it thats how it will end...Dunno!!

But I don't think it's too hard to tell how the story will go, I just hope there's a few surprises left for me to see

But...

Did you notice a few old Phantom tunes creeping in, such as Padmes death being the same music as Qui-Gon's. And 'Anakin vs Obi-Wan' was very simular to 'the Duel' theme from Empire..

Man, I can't wait for this film to come out....
