Interested in everyones opinion when ROTS DVD Comes after Nov 1
Time
I had ROTS on DVD since it was released in the cinema and have watched it about 30 times now(a good copy, none of this time code shit). I WILL be buying the official DVD when released.
For me this is a great film. I love it. Much better that the other 2, and IMO no 2 fave film of the 6, Empire being no 1.

I'll still watch the other two films from time to time...I do actualy quite like 'em!

Who watches Lost here??

Well I think it was the last episode where Jinn and Michael are putting the finals adjustments to the boat.

The dialog was straight out of Empire where Han is fixing the Falcon on Hoth with Chewie.

"No, no, this one goes there, that one goes there...Got it?!?" Han/Michael

To wich Chewie replies with a growl, and Jinn replies with a grunt! Brilliant.

I sense the scriptwriters are pretty hardcore SW fans

I like her like that...she looks like a dirty slut there Hubba Hubba

Hang on...what scene are you talking about???

I'm on about the scene where the Ewok has just stolen the speeder...I dunno...I'm a little out of it tonight

Sometimes do you feel like you should give up on the cause?
Time
^^All everyone is asking man, is to release both versions...which IMO I think he will.

Dunno, I've just got a feeling that come 2007 and we have the 30th box set or whatever, that maybe, just maybe, he may give something back to all the fans that made him what he is today!

Then again, I've got a feeling that I'm gonna win the lottery and all my dreams will come true

Top 5 Moments in the Original Trilogy
Time
OK 5 more (there's more than 5 good points in these films)

1) Yoda giving Luke the Force speech after Luke's failed attemp at lifting his X-Wing
2) "Between his howling and you blasting everthing in site, it's a wonder the whole station doesn't know were here" Scene..
3) Han's torture and the following Lando stare at Fett scene, then the conversation with Vader afterwards
4) Love the fight with Luke and Vader, when Lukes fly thru the window, then the race to the falcon after. Again, the music, the colours...just great
5) The whole carbonite scene...from start to finish...ever since I was a young boy I've loved that.

And how many of you here used to lay in the bath with the water full up pretending to be frozen in carbonite??...I did

And I used to freeze my figures in ice

I was watching 'Justice leage unlimited' the other day when I got home from work, and therre was this big fat clown guy who pulled out a double bladed lightsaber...just like Mauls.

I could'nt believe it...I was going to my girlfriend "look, look a bloody lightsaber"...was cool!

On a side note, I bought a force fx lightsaber a few months back...Luke's from Empire to be precise...it's great. Well....
The other day I get home from work and my missus aint to happy with me. "Been wasting your money again" she goes.. I look at her as if to say WTF??
Then she goes into the living room a gives me a parcel from Master replicas. I'm like WTF again!
I open it, and it's a fucking lightsaber..Anakins from Sith.
She's having a pop at me, I'm thinking when the fuck did I order this thing. Obviously deep down I was well chuffed She wasn't...
Thinh is there was no note, no delivery note, nothing.

So the next day I ring up the parcel company who deliverd it.
They traced it back to Orange (UK mobile phone network company)
I think it turns out I won the bloody thing. I don't even remember entering any competions.

But it shut her up...and my little boy, who's only 9 months, bloody loves it.
You should see his face when I turn it on.

So now we play "Protect the baby from the Emperor". I hold him in one hand, the laser sword in the other and start swishing it around, repeating dialog from the films. So sad, but his little face more than makes up for it
Man I can't wait till he's old enough to sit and watch all 6 films with me...It's gonna be great!

Back to names!

I like the good ones, don't really give a toss about the bad ones

Ooops wrong thread

I know...but me being the moron I am, bought a bloody region 1 version...can't for the life of me decode my DVD player, so now have to resort to re-burning it on to a blank dvd in region 2 setting.
So now I need some disc art, coz the original I bought is a bloody double sided disc.

Anyway, forget about the disc art...I've made my own...a good it is too

Darth Editous' edit of ANH corrects all of this. So does aDigitalman's edit of ESB. It's pretty much the OOT with all the jazzed up effects an'shit. Espeicially ESB..now that Boba Fetts voice is back the way it should be...Vaders conversation is with the new Emporer, but the old dialog remains, and no more Vaders shuttle landing on his bloody Star Destoyer to mess up the pace.
Great stuff.

Anyway my list is:

The Empire Strikes back - Will always be my fave film of all time
Revenge of the Sith - A classic in the making. Give it time, it's a great film (seen it about 35 times now and still love it)
Star Wars (A new hope to you younglings)
Return of the Jedi
The Phantom menace
Attack of the Clones - Although depending on how I'm feeling, this can swap with TPM quite easily.

The 'You will be' scene is awesome! That's acting baby, something CGI has a hard time doing.

True...But I was was watching Sith just earlier, and the scene where Yoda feels the pain when all the Jedi's start to die under order 66 is just heart wrenching. Brilliant stuff man!!

CGI or not, that is one of the best Yoda scenes in th whole 6 films...IMO of course!

OK, I usually hate these things, but the mescallin has me all warm and tingly so here goes:

1 - Han shooting Greedo. First.
2 - The Asteroid Field - best.music.ever.
3 - Luke blowing up the Death Star.
4 - The Trash Compactor - loved it since I was a kid, for some unknown "I need therapy" reason.
5 - Vader & Luke's duel in Empire.

Now, back to my crack pipe.

I agree about the Asteroid field music being the best. It ROCKS!!!

That music happens to be my ring tone - How sad am I???

Well at least the Yoda's in the PT at least look like each other now.
I think that was his point, right! I'm glad they did it

He won't change the OT Yoda, so who really gives a shit. Hardley anyone on here likes TPM much anyway, so for the few who do actually like the film (me being one of them) I thinks it's a good change.

Still won't take away the feeling I had when I first saw TPM teaser trailer fon TV. I was lucky enough to record it, so it got multiple veiws. His "fear leads to anger" speech,. but at least now he'll at least look alittle like Yoda. I mean, we had two more films to get used to him (and I thought he was pretty good in RotS) so when you wath TPM now he really does look weird!
