That seems to works great!
Your English is usually so impressive that I feel like I should point out even the rarest of your errors. It should be "seems to work great."
Thanks you very many, good sir :-D I edit it. It is gooder now?
That seems to work great!
Not a bad year for Sci-fi after all.
Guardians of the Galaxy was frigin' awesome.
I loved Edge of Tomorrow - I'm actually really sorry I didn't go see it in the theatres, because based on the trailers, it looked like another mindless action sci-fi with Tom Cruise but it turned out to be a really interesting story.
I've only recently seen the new Planet of the Apes and thought it was really good too, albeit the apes still looked too CGI.
And I think most comic book movies are sci-fi at their core (someone getting super-powers due to scientific experiments or genetic mutations is a very sci-fi concept) so I would count the new Captain America and the new X-Men among the really good sci-fi films of this year.
And then there's Interstellar of course - I didn't think it was all that amazing but there were some really good parts, plus it gave me an opportunity (possibly the last ever) to see a movie in IMAX 70mm (the Prague IMAX re-asembled their already decommissioned 70mm projector for it) and that was amazing!
Actually, I must say, if you watch the far less compressed iTunes version of the trailer, it looks much more film-like than on YouTube.

The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended Edition
The Two Towers - Extended Edition
The Return of the King - Theatrical Cut
ROTK is just too bloated in it's EE form, but the first two movies benefit greatly from their extra scenes.
I agree, though I could go either way with Fellowship as I think that while the added scenes are nice and very interesting in on themselves, they don't necessarily make the experience of the movie better (nor worse). TTT is another thing completely - the EE is a vastly superior movie experience. And ROTK EE is not only bloated but a lot of the added stuff is kind of stupid (falling skulls, spoiling the reveal of the fleet being taken over by the dead army, Mouth of Sauron and much much more) plus the effects on the added stuff are kind of cheap looking.

I give this a gold star
Wow, that is both hilarious and really god-damned impressive!
Well, to me the ball-droid shot did look and feel like it could have been plucked right out of ANH but not the original SW, it looked and felt a lot like the ANH SE Mos Eisley additions.
Download the other parts and try it again later - the links sometimes go bad for a bit but then they get back to normal. Or try downloading that one part in your browser. Also, I recommend using FreeRapid Downloader for uloz.to - it fills in the captchas for you automatically.
I'm very, very disappointed :-(
I thought it looked like another fan-made trailer - it doesn't look cinematic at all - it all kind of looks like video game cut scenes :-(
Oh, and I f*cking hate that lighsaber - what is this? Game of Thrones?
Wow. Cool.
There's already an official DVD5 on tehparadox. I just checked and the links are online.
^This. But also, awesome! I'm glad that my work has in some small part contributed to such a worthy cause! :-)
It's a bit on the red side, isn't it? But otherwise it looks good - I think the lack of detail is likely due to compression rather than the print or the scanning.
No, they certainly have not.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what you would have wanted me to say, so I held back on the information there - having bits of 35mm prints should be perfectly legal, so I went with that :-)
Yeah, it's a joy to be interviewed by a fellow nerd :-D
Done :-D
So, I was asked to give an interview for Radio Prague, the English branch of the Czech National Radio:

I liked The Ancient Fear much more.
