I don't think all WookieGroomer releases were colour corrected.

Here's the second half of my notes. Again all very minor stuff, and sorry if some of it's already been pointed out!
1:06:22 - fullscreen encoding glitch (after shot of chewie)
Cool, it would really bother me if something like that only got noticed after release, thank you!!!
But it's not the secret glitch but the discovery of this new error only proves that the secret glitch idea is a good one ;-)
Welcome, Dr Kain. Let me answer your questions here
1) Well they are sourced from HDTV captures, so they're not exactly full Blu-Ray quality but they're natively HD and definitely better than DVD.
2) They are split with WinRar, which is a necessity, as most servers don't allow free download of larger files. You need WinRar or 7Zip or something similar to reconnect the parts.
The links to this can be found at tehparadox.com or a torrent at myspleen.org.
3) They're are AVCHD, so you can burn them to a double layer DVD and they should play in a majority of BD players and PS3.
4) I'm working on custom covers and I'm happy to say they're almost done :-)
Some sort of glossy photo paper would probably yield best results.
Welcome crystal1 and thanks for saying that, it's nice to see that some people in the general audience are on our side :-)
Oh, don't worry about that, I already used an OCR software to rewrite them for me. As to the size, I don't know if there's is any standard resolution, I usually just take one of the already made covers and use it as my background for measurements.
Puggo, I just noticed, there seems to be a slight chroma shift in your transfer.
Wow! There's more potential to this project than I (and maybe even Puggo himself) thought. With a proper treatment, this may end up beating the hell out of GOUT.
Has anyone got the credits for the bottom of the cover written out as text? And if so, could you please post them? Thanks :-)
Let me ask again:
Has anyone got the credits for the bottom of the cover written out as text? And if so, could you please post them? Thanks :-)
Oh, that. It does look like a glitch but not only is it on the official 04DVD but also in the GOUT, so I suppose it's a very obvious matte box or some other by-product of the optical effect. It only looks more like a digital error here, because of the compression of the WP. Thanks a lot for going into all that trouble and posting the screenshot though :-)
I have no plans on doing another version of ESB at least up until I get my hands on the Blu-Rays, which could be months from now.
Wow, that sucks some serious ass...
Cool, thanks for posting that :-)
Thanks, guys. I'm close to finishing ROTJ now. I'll just wait for DJ to send me the credits from his Project Blu and fix some of the things suggested (most of them I already fixed) :-)
And then only wait till someone spots that glitch...
Yeah, I noticed that trademark thing and the M*A*S*H logo isn't very good quality, in fact it doesn't look all that much better than DJ's upscale. I unfortunately don't have the new Alien Blu-Ray, only the D-Box version of the director's cut, which for some reason has the 80s logo. Could someone PLEASE send me the logo from the Alien Blu-Ray? Pretty please! :-)
And thanks. If you want to see it in motion, there is a YouTube clip here:
I would definitely recommend waiting for ROTJ DeEd, it shouldn't be long now and it will be the same thing, only much better.
That is a great idea, IMO, it sounds crazy at first but then, it could actually save Ady a lot of work in the long run.
Also, it would be awesome if Anakin's original turn was amongst the deleted scenes on the Blu-Ray, as it sounded much more believable and cooler than what we got in the end.

Yeah, stupid YouTube blocked it in some countries because of the music. For those who can't see it, it's here ;-)

Here's the second and final part of my review:
Thanks a lot :-)
1:41:26 - some kind of encoding/compression glitch on the bottom of the AT-ST as it blows up. Is this the secret glitch?
I don't see anything there, could you maybe post a screenshot? (And no, it's not the secret glitch ;-) )
1:56:25 - Wedge looks like his contrast has been jacked way up - muddled blacks, blown out whites, and excessive grain. The other shots in the reactor core look like they suffer from this slightly.
I'm afraid that is inherent to the 04 transfer.
2:01:09 - GOUT cuts to shot of ghosts, but DeEd stays on Luke and Leia and repeats a few frames. DeEd then cuts to ghosts about a half second late, then cuts to the final hero shot a half second late. This is probably to work around the trimmed shots in the SE, but the repeated frames of Luke and Leia at 2:01:09 should probably be removed in some way. Can you slow down the ghost shot?
That's just a mistake, I forgot to cut off the end of the despecialized shot when inserting it, it will of course not appear this way :-)
2:01:22 - the credits for the GOUT change about half a second before the DeEd. This runs to the end of the credits. Judder on credits is also quite noticable. Is this from DJ's Project Blu?
Yeah, the workprint credits are straight GOUT and are just temporary until DJ sends me those from his project. Those first few seconds of the credits are from DJ's project Blu and the difference just goes to show how much worse this project would be if I didn't have access to DJ's footage. He's so patient with me asking for more and more clips, I'm very grateful :-)
Theprequelsrule said STAR WARS wasn't shot in high resolution and I said it was, I never said anything about theatrical prints (though even 700 lines is still HD) but that aside, there was also a 70mm release of all STAR WARS films, which would definitely resolve way above 1080 lines.
STAR WARS was filmed on 35mm film - 35mm film is higher than high definition.
