A minor continuity error I noticed is when Poe is speaking with Holdo for the first time. She says “It’s commander right? Wasn’t it Leia’s last official act of command to demote you? For your Dreadnought plan?”, but that wasn’t Leia’s last official act of command. Right before the bridge explodes she orders The Raddus to stay out of range of the First Order’s barrage and to have maximum rear shields or something like that. I know it could be explained that Holdo just forgot, but the order that’s keeping everyone alive seems like a pretty massive point to forget.
That line was especially annoying. A good leader shouldn’t be passive aggressive.
It’s a great line. You’re supposed to be somewhat skeptical of Holdo at first. And Poe was trying to pull a fast one by introducing himself as commander.
I feel like there could have been a better way of doing that. Especially since we’re supposed to think she was right the whole way through by the end.

The effect on their bottom line is not important. Many other highly profitable ways of making money are already illegal for good reasons. This should be one of them.
I’m just curious how it would effect the companies, seeing as Silicon Valley is seen as a goldmine. That would probably change for social media companies. Twitter has also been having money problems lately, this might do them in.
I haven’t been excited for a Marvel film since… probably the original Avengers. I’m a bit interested in this one because it’s a similar situation to the first. No one knew how they’d be able to pull off having so many characters in the first movie, which seems quaint now, and this one feels the same way. I haven’t seen a cast so big since It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

I saw Linkara at a convention a few months back. I recognized him but didn’t say anything (what would I say?). The company has been pretty irrelevant for years now. However, they did play an important role early on, not as much as AVGN, but still. The whole “YouTuber” thing pretty much started there, back when YouTube didn’t really have a community of its own. So, considering all young people seem to talk about now are YouTubers, they’ve been pretty influential, for better or for worse.
Probably for worse. AVGN is still entertaining, though.
