They chose red and green because the entire film revolves around red and green. The cover is just an amalgamation of everything that appears in that dream sequence, which I would argue is the most memorable scene of the film. Definitely the most surreal. However, I can’t argue your personal taste.

I know I’ve been using this thread a lot lately, so I’ll keep it short.

I managed to spend some time with my best friend of over five years tonight. We went and saw Incredibles 2 and then had something to eat. But I don’t think we clicked. He’s moved on to other things, and I’m kind of stuck here. He spent a lot of the time browsing reddit on his phone. I couldn’t manage to talk about anything I felt we should talk about. I feel like I’ve lost everyone, and haven’t managed to find anyone to replace that void.

It sucks.

It looks like they cut a bunch of paper in the shape of a few promo stills.

The whole film is red and green. Its use of color is one of the things it’s best known for. In fact, that cover is ripped straight from it.

That’s rather mean to say, considering it’s just James Stewart’s face.

I know it didn’t happen. You refused to call out the intellectual dishonesty of Jordan Peterson, for example. When he says that lack of religion causes immorality, he’s factually incorrect to the point of potentially being an outright liar because it’s documented that the less religious a society, the lower its crime rate. The Silver Age had a lot of stuff like that.

This is something I’ve always wanted, but have never gotten the opportunity to get into. We had a few REAR-projection TVs, but they were just awful. They were the only way to get a large screen without dedicating a whole room to it at the time.

Here’s what we had originally. I played N64 games on this:

Here’s an HD set we eventually got around 2005 or 2006. There’s no HDMI support, so eventually we got screwed. The HD part broke long before the whole thing died by 2012:

California notoriously has incredibly high gas prices. I remember when I visited there a few years back, and it was over $4/gal. Back at home it was half that. Now it’s roughly $2.99.
