He provoked me. Intentionally, I’d say.
He provoked me. Intentionally, I’d say.
I do. You’re wrong. That’s what I say.
You are an ass. And you’re completely off base on why I hate Enterprise. Look at Tobar’s posts again.
If you’re going to compare Arena to a sleazy catfight that looks straight out of a direct-to-video shitfest, I’m not really sure what to say. And I haven’t said anything about Voyager.
Ha that sounds terrible.
It’s been in my Netflix queue so long I’m not even sure it’s still on Netflix.
You would hate it. It’s bad.
That’s the Mirror Universe in Season 4. -.- It’s not the Prime Universe crew. It’s supposed to be over the top with evil bad guys and everyone betraying everyone else. That’s the way the Mirror Universe is.
I know it’s the Mirror Universe. That’s not why it’s awful.
I can’t stop thinking about her. I’m losing sleep, but I can’t do anything about it because she’s out of town for awhile. I guess I’ll just be an insomniac until I can let her know how I feel.
Good luck, and well wishes. It’s always hard to let someone else know how you feel.
Alternatively:
This image has been associated with me in the past. I think it works for you too.

Thanks for unquoting it.
Dammit, how am I going to be able to keep up with my local Foosball championships?
I probably prefer TOS the least, for one because it is so very campy.
If you can’t appreciate camp, stay out of the campsite.
And most of the campiness of the show is in season three. But there’s still a lot there.
redacted
TOS has the best tone/feel of all the Trek series’, but I’m not keen on the Technicolor sets/costumes, the episodic storytelling, or the steadfast focus on Kirk/Spock/McCoy. TNG & especially DS9 did better jobs utilizing and developing their characters.
The Kirk/Spock/McCoy dynamic is the show! And they’re far more complex than they’re given credit for! Especially Kirk.
This reminds me of a sappy early '00s song I’d much rather keep far in the back of my mind.

Oh wait!, wrong year.
I’d say it’s up for debate whether or not 2004 counts as part of the early '00s.
But it’s this song I’m talking about.
Wow, over 400 million views? I’ve never heard this song in my life.
Please stop it. This song was terrible and I used to hear it all the time.
He was only a toddler at the time.
By “it” I meant “making me feel old”. I used to be with it, but then they changed what “it” is.

Syndrome was the perfect villain. The more I think on it, the more the sequel doesn’t compare to the original in the slightest. But I still enjoyed it for what it is.
Funnily enough, those good sequels are the only two Pixar films I skipped on watching. I saw Cars 2, and lost interest in ever seeing another one of those, and I didn’t find the time to see Finding Dory. I’m not sure if I’d like them, though. Monsters University was not too great.
It doesn’t live up to the original because it can’t, by definition, as a sequel, given why the original was so great. It’s novelty, the cleverness of the dozen references to other movies (Bond, War of the Worlds, every super hero movie ever, 2001, just off the top of my head). The sequel was never going to live up to that because it takes place in an existing paradigm.
It’s also incredibly messy. There are a lot of conflicting character motivations and not everything really adds up. The brilliantness of the original wasn’t just novelty. If it were, we wouldn’t be talking about it after the hundreds of other superhero movies that followed. And references aren’t clever, the film examines the mid-life crisis, the role of family, etc. etc. etc. in a unique way that the sequel almost drops entirely or has little more to add.
But the sequel is still a lot of fun.
Nothing tops the original series.
I once got chicken nuggets instead of an Egg McMuffin. This happened two days ago.

Incredibles 2
Finally! After fourteen long years of waiting, Pixar has finally given us a sequel to The Incredibles, and it’s without a doubt the best sequel they’ve produced (Toy Story notwithstanding). That’s not saying too much, and the film shows some of the same problems that have plagued the other Pixar sequels.
So, it may sound like the film is a disappointment, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I looked to my friend afterwards, and he mentioned, “You genuinely enjoyed a movie at the theater? I’m shocked!”. I suppose I can be a bit of a curmudgeon, but I still care for these characters, and love this world enough that I could put aside its flaws.
A friend of mine once got a fried grasshopper with their chicken tenders at Wendy’s. Strangely enough, that’s where I got my cheese sandwich. Don’t go to Wendy’s.
When I was very young, I ordered a cheeseburger with just cheese. They gave me a slice of cheese between two buns. It was cold.
If there’s anything sitcoms have taught me, it’s to value your friendships over romance. The girl of the week will disappear, but the supporting cast will be there to the end.
I think you have something there. But I don’t think it’s so much of “trying too hard” so much as it’s “wanting too much”. I don’t feel like I’m really needed at all, that’s the thing. When I’m with a group of people, I find that I can get most everybody laughing, but I just want more to a friendship than making jokes once a week with people I don’t really know.
I never go into the politics thread because I don’t give a shit about politics, much less American politics, and I feel I miss out on most of the drama that goes on within this forum by doing so.
Yeah, it’s great to be able to ignore that section whenever I feel like it and still enjoy the threads here. I was a bit resistant to the change, but it makes sense and overall I think it was the right choice now.
They chose red and green because the entire film revolves around red and green.
I’m surprised it wasn’t set around Christmas.
That’s what Bell, Book and Candle is for.
