Ten years? It barely takes a month.
Ten years? It barely takes a month.
Here is the view-master frame of that scene.
I think it needs a little more work. Perhaps try fiddling with contrast?
I keep forgetting that droid waitress was in a SW movie. Like, it seems like something out of this.
Or this.
Or this.
Sometime this fall.
I’ve started it, and I think it’s great! I’ve never actually seen the old school process of compositing in action before, and to see the folks who did it the best, and during its peak, is really special indeed.
I’ve just noticed a few things that don’t make too much sense to me. Namely, the 4:3 behind the scenes footage brings back memories of non-anamorphic widescreen. I’m curious why that decision was made rather than maybe upscaling it and presenting it normally in the 16:9 ratio, with only two borders. Additionally, it looks like you’ve applied a filter of specks to the footage, specifically during the Temple of Doom stuff, which I would think would go against the goal of clean up and remaster. Just curious as to the thought process there.
What mistakes have you noticed?
do people hate dex’s diner’s scene because dex himself is a big pile of cgi shit or are there other reasons?
It’s a 50s diner.
I don’t think anyone wants a hug from Trump.
I hear it gets better by the third season. I never bothered watching them all.
Geez, I’ve no idea how I’d react in that situation. Good luck.
I’m very skeptical. I was pretty done with this show by the end of Matt Smith’s tenure, but Capaldi happened to be the closest I feel to a classic Doctor on the new show. Too bad the writing suffered greatly. The show keeps getting younger, and if it’s going to be focusing on a bunch of modern day millennials, I’m going to have a hell of a time trying to enjoy it. I suppose that’s not really a fault of the show so much as I’m no longer the target demographic.
Why does HDMI suck so much?
Sounds like another way to rebel against your parents, as everyone does, lmao. With all the developments happening lately (or more like the past 10 or 15 years), it really feels like that classic car culture is dying off a bit.
How has this topic not been made?
I love cars. I don’t think I’m surprising anyone by saying I’m from the United States, and cars have always been a pretty big deal here.
When I think of generic cars, I think of any sedan from the 1990s:
Just the blandest thing to ever grace the earth, with nothing particularly distinctive to set it apart from any other car.
But when I think of cars, one of the first to come to mind is the 1960 Corvette:
How about you? What do you think of when you hear the word? What’s your favorite?
I am watching Star Wars Despecialized Edition V 2.7 now. Towards the end there seems to be problem with the picture. I cannot really explain it. But when Luke, Han and Chewie enter the hall you see Luke first, then Han and finally Chewie. Then cut to the bystanders right in the middle of the shot of the bystanders, a frame of Chewbacca shows up and quickly goes away. Does somebody else have the same problem?
Do you have a timecode for when this happens? This is for the ending celebration, right?
What’s with all these group chats? I don’t want my day interrupted by dumb shit on my phone. I don’t give out my mobile number to anybody anymore. I don’t understand what’s wrong with email. When I’m checking my email, I’ll actually have the time to respond to whatever it is you want. I’m too busy for my phone to be constantly going off with every random stranger I have to interact with.
Don’t you EVER tell Handman what to do!
Wise words.

I remember they once shot me up with the legal limit of that stuff. Still didn’t help.
He’s right in the sense that you can’t really say anything about it without someone having to respond “too bad it sucks!” This is true of the PT too honestly, and I am as guilty as anyone. It can become quite tiresome.
Or just a “too bad you’re wrong”.
I have to get two cavities filled tomorrow morning. Then go to work afterward.
Uuuuugh.
I was wrong. It was three cavities, across two teeth. I hate life.
I blame the dentists.
Wow!
Fair enough.
