Welcome back, Ripplin.
Welcome back, Ripplin.
That’s swell news, Duracell!
Nancy Sinatra says otherwise.
That’s true too.
I’ve had quite a lot of allegations about my orientation asked. Only issue, if I told one person I was gay, is that everyone I know knows everyone I know.
I was compensated with free dinner and axe throwing. So, I was invited to that I suppose.
What the f is ace throwing?
Axe throwing. You throw axes. And it was a lot of fun, so I felt like it would be wrong not to at least say that considering I didn’t need to go. That would kind of be a bit rude. I know whenever I invite someone somewhere, I’m always worried they’re bored as hell.
I would have never made the connection that that was supposed to be Rand. To me, it looks like Kirk and two red shirts. I kind of dig that logo, though.

Welcome back, Rikter. Nice to see an old poster here again. Let us know when you figure out the Markdown syntax.
To be honest, I had no idea what to make of the invitation. It kind of felt like a date but it also didn’t. I didn’t have the opportunity to thank her for the invite, so I sent that text while also making it known I would like to do something again, seeing as we don’t see eachother often. She’s nice, but I couldn’t tell if SHE was interested or not either. So it kind of sucks that after that spontaneous fun time, I’m stuck right back where I was.
Why is there a Romulan ship behind Spock?
Well, it’s a woman, and I think that would come off weird.
Well, hate to say it, but your text probably came off weird anyway. That’s the kind of thing someone does after a date. Buddies usually don’t do that (ideally you would’ve just said nothing and texted her some other time to hang out).
I know this sounds pretty dumb, but it’s probably true and I can’t blame her. I probably would’ve thought and done the same thing in her position. This is her way of subtlety telling you she’s not interested.
JEDIT: dammit Frink, yeah I had the same thought after the first post, the fact that she’s a woman only solifies the probability.
That sucks.
Blegh. Fuck panic attacks. I had to quit my job after only two days because they were just getting worse before they were getting better. Like, nearly losing my sense of balance bad.
I know people are saying it’ll get better, but I don’t want to risk injury for that chance.
That really sucks…
Funny that 5 years ago I would be excited. Now I just expect they will f it up and ruin his character. Especially when it’s done by the same people who are behind Discovery.
Yeah, pretty much.

O…
O no…
That… is some fucking garbage.
Haha, perhaps not. But I’m almost certain the rest of the TNG cast won’t play a major role, if they even show up (Riker probably will, Data probably not). I want to see Picard as an ambassador.
I wouldn’t mind if they just ignored the TNG movies altogether. Though from the sounds of things it looks like this is going to be Picard all on his own. I don’t think Spiner has any desire to resurrect Data at this point.
I’m not very confident that they will be able to stay true to his character, given how legacy characters have been treated in the past, and even as he was treated in the four TNG movies.
So, my question is, will we be getting TV show Picard, or movie Picard?

His response wasn’t personal, and wasn’t directed at you per say, but rather at the broad idea you mentioned. Sure, he cursed, but not at you. You retorted with a shot at his personal life, which to me is a little below the belt.
.
Nah, I’m a piece of shit like anybody else. But I’ll take the compliment, Trident. Thanks. I hope you find something nearby too. You never seem to have a bad thing to say to anyone.
