'66 Batman took decades to sort out the issues between Fox and Warner Bros. though. It’s a miracle we got it at all.
Indeed, that’s why I was saying this shouldn’t be a problem, as the rights issues with Star Wars are much more clear cut. We’ve already gotten the digital releases and numerous repackagings of the 2011 complete set under Disney’s reign, so they’ve clearly already sorted something out. The hardest part of an OUT release would be who’s footing the bill for the restoration.

The issue with Fox has never made much sense to me. If Batman '66 can get a complete series set, unscathed, then this should be nothing in comparison.

Fascinating, the second set of screenshots makes a lot more sense in regards to R2’s coloring.
Please don’t interpret my post as disparaging your abilities, that was not the intention. Yours is still much better than the Blu-ray, it’s just this one shot I thought was a little greener than usual. The photo you just posted looks just a tad less green to me too. But, I suppose I’m just used to the more neutral colors in the home releases, as you previously mentioned.
I thought it was generally accepted that the Technicolor prints tend to naturally lean towards green, but that this was not indicative of the original colors. Yours looks a little too green here.
Essentially snip out all the “Leia is my sister” bits in ROTJ and add the “There is another” line into that dream sequence in TFA and that’s pretty much all you can do to make that happen. A lot of effort for something small.
If Leia has real Jedi skills in Ep 8, this idea might not work as well.
Indeed, but Leia was established as being Force-sensitive in ESB, we can fiddle with what we get. The only bad thing is I really enjoy the Luke v. Vader duel in ROTJ, and Leia’s relationship plays a pivotal role in that.

Except it was ridiculous in ROTJ, too. Had “The other” not been wasted as “Another Skywalker, your twin sister Leia” in ROTJ, and just let it hang, Rey could have taken on that role. I would find that much more fulfilling.
That opens a whole new bag of worms if that were to be enforced… a set of criteria should be laid out first.
Considering The Clone Wars is canon and considering what we learned about Obi-Wan and women during that series, I like to think he wouldn’t have any children.

That’s too bad. When I went to see it, my dad was selected to participate in the show as an audience volunteer. Fun times. But that’s the only time I saw it. It’s a shame nobody will be able to experience it anymore.
