Uhh… looks like everything was pretty much covered without me.
Uhh… looks like everything was pretty much covered without me.
BUT THEY BROKE THE LAw!!
What do you mean by no dubbing? The very nature of the way the film was produced requires dubbing no matter what.
That’s one.
Any chance of spleen being a dock for this?
I’d love to host it there, but it’s not my decision. The creator of this cut hasn’t been active for quite awhile, and for whatever reason never commented on it as an option. I don’t really want to go against his wishes, not everything here ends up on MySpleen, and usually for a reason.
For pretty much the same reasons I wouldn’t want to live in Texas or Florida.
I’m going to guess he doesn’t have the technology required, and doesn’t want to spend a few hundred dollars on equipment he’ll only use once.
I could visit California for a few weeks, probably, but there’s no way on earth I’d want to live there. I accidentally said this to someone from California and suffered the consequences of a poor first impression.
The problem is as far as I know, these CIA weapons have been compromised and are out there. So they’re a danger no matter what. I think the public ought to know about invasive surveillance software that can be used against them. The government owes it to their citizens to let them know what they’re doing, they shouldn’t be able to “go rogue”, one could say.
If the SE gets a UHD Blu release, the colors will have to be given another look anyway to take advantage of HDR. So that’s a sure thing.
Somedays I forget to get food. Whoops. On top of that, everything around here is wholly unappetizing, and I can’t cook!
Wikileaks: CIA has tools to snoop via TVs
Other claims say the CIA:
- was trying to find ways to infect vehicles’ computer control systems. Wikileaks claims these might *have been used for undetectable assassinations
- had found ways to infect “air-gapped” computers - machines that are not linked up to the internet or other insecure networks. Methods are said to have included hiding data in images or hidden parts of computer storage
- had developed attacks against popular anti-virus products
- had built up a library of hacking techniques “stolen” from malware developed in Russia and elsewhere
Wikileaks describes its release as the first in a series of planned leaks about the CIA’s cyber-activities, which it refers to as Vault 7.
It added that the material had already circulated among hackers who used to work for the US government as well as contractors in an unauthorised manner.

With the quality of fan restorations becoming available for Star Wars, I don’t much care what official product they release - no matter what, Star Wars won’t be a ‘lost film’.
There are a great many less-well-known films needing preservation or restoration, and there are probably a lot where a fan restoration is necessary. I hope that in the near future they get the attention they deserve.
THIS, a million times over.
I’ve already made up my mind not to buy anything Star Wars related on blu-ray, not even if it’s a future-proofed 4k combo, until the OOT is given its due. I’ll go see the new movies in the theater, but that’s it. I’ve still never bought the blu-rays, sure ain’t going to now. There are plenty of other movie restorations on blu-ray I’d rather spend my hard-earned money on.
We ❤️ Star Wars and give it all the moneys. Please don’t sue us.
The first Raimi movie was going to have an animatronic mask, but DaFoe said no.
It could have been great.
I introduced Orson Welles to an audience that had never heard of Orson Welles. I feel like my culture is dying before my very eyes.
She never says anything either way, the special effects ARE old, be it 1977 or 1997. She says it reminds her of the first time, but doesn’t say it is exactly like it. I’m not even sure if she knows or cares about the numerous alterations. Of all people to break OOT news, I wouldn’t expect Cher to be the one to do it.
EDIT: Removed self-deprecating nonsense about my internalized homophobia
Ooh, internalized homophobia? We’re getting into some weird, wild stuff now, best suited for a good novel.
This is isn’t about swinging an election.
I thought that was the major concern/result of voter fraud?
Try it.
Logan
I haven’t seen any of the other X-Men movies, but the hype caught up to me and I had to see this one. Really great.
???
I don’t think this guy thought that through. I always got the impression Batman doesn’t care about politics, only what he feels is right. Keep in mind there are numerous instances where Bruce will take in one of those guys on the street and give them a job at Wayne Enterprises to help get them away from living through hell, if he feels they’re a person with good intentions, but stuck in terrible circumstances.
Agent Coulson is getting noticeably older. Barely recognized him from that poster.
Coherence (2013)
distracting
I don’t know what you expected. :p
You might say… it’s incoherent.
Midnight in Paris (2011)
I love exploring the idea of nostalgia, and especially out-of-time experiences like Back to the Future and Pleasantville, so this immediately appealed to me. It’s also historically accurate, for much of the 20th century, the 1890s were considered the ideal “Golden Age”.
