Comic book movies - who says yes and who says no?
Time
Isn't it a little early to bring in Venom? Okay, not early but they should really finish up the thing with Harry Osborne first before they do Venom.

I hear Cyclops may appear in a "reduced role" for X3. I ask you: reduced compared to WHAT? Cyclops barely existed in the first two X-Men films as it is, the only way you could possibly reduce his role anymore would be to just write him out entirely. It saddens me greatly, since I'm a bit of a Cyclops fan.

Episode II: Shroud of the Dark Side (the TM edit) (Released)
Time
[Scene on space ship between Anakin/Annie and Padme/Paddy]

ANAKIN: "Padme, I long for you."
PADME: "You what?"
ANAKIN: "I long for you."
PADME: "You *what* for me?"
ANAKIN: "I LONG for you."
PADME: "You LONG for ME?"
ANAKIN: "Indeed, I do long for you."
PADME: "Do you really long for me?"
ANAKIN: "You know I long for you, girl. I've been longing for you for a long time."
PADME: "How long exactly have you been longing for me?"
ANAKIN: "10 years, baby. 10 LONG years. Longer than any man should long for a woman."
PADME: "That is indeed a long time to be longing for someone. I can't believe you've been longing for me all that time."
ANAKIN: "It hasn't been easy longing for you after 10 years, Paddy. I've been longing for you for so long that it's become uncomfortable, but I would long it again and then some for you. And now that I'm with you again, I'm longing more than ever."
PADME: "That is some major longing on your part, Annie."

How bad can it get? (The changes to the films)

Good stuff, Ricarleite.

Maybe for the next "special edition" of ESB George Lucas will throw in a shot of Darth Vader taking aggressive action against Han Solo, probably hurling some large blunt object at him, so as to provoke Han to shoot at him. After all, Han shooting at Darth Vader could be viewed as attempted murder, or so the reasoning should go if you follow the messed up logic (or lack of logic) of Lucas.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Aquatic Boogaloo
Time
Rumor has it that the official plot outline for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest deals with Jack Sparrow getting cursed by the Flying Dutchman and the result is that he'll lose his soul to the underworld (or something). Jack does not like this at all so he enlists the lovably androgynous Will Turner and his "bonnie lass" Elizabeth Swann to help him just as their marriage plans are getting underway.

And somewhere in there Keith Richards will appear as Jack's dad and Stellan Skarsgard (or however you spell his name) will appear as Will's dad, Bootstrap Bill.

Oh and I hope you all had a good St. Patrick's Day.

- According to George Lucas they DON'T exist anymore as the new official 2004 DVD's are what he had truly envisioned NOT what he did back in 77'- 83' - therefore they cannot be illegal since they do not exist

How the Hell could that moron Lucas have possibly envisioned the effeminate Hayden Christensen as the ghost of Anakin Skywalker? HC was like two years old when that movie came out!

That's not what I meant, DC (or should I not call you DC?) What I meant was that all this "dark" talk annoys me because it feels like Lucas is tossing it around as a kind of advertising strategy, to make people think they're getting a better movie than they actually are.

Besides, Lucas's idea of "dark" will most likely translate into dimmer lighting and more CGI laden violence. Dimmer lighting and CGI laden violence is fun and all but overloading Episode III with it won't cover the fact that this whole prequel affair has been a hollow and wasted opportunity.

JSA? What prei'tell, is that.

JSA is an acronym for Justice Society America, which was the predecessor of the Justice League America team (or JLA for short). JSA consisted of mostly "Golden Age" characters like the original versions of the Flash (Jay Garrick - who wore a silver Mercury helmet) and the Green Lantern (Alan Scott - the blonde guy with the purple cape) as well as lesser knowns like Dr. Fate (who looked kind of like a blue and gold version of Darth Vader), and the 1940s versions of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

I wonder if they'd ever try a Nightwing film...
