Topher Grace will make a very poor bad guy, especially if it's true he's playing Venom. I don't care how much he works out, he doesn't have the intensity to pull off the vicious character that is Venom. Just watch him as the smug, smarmy, effeminate drug addict prep school snob in Traffic, that's about as intense as he can get. If Grace is Venom, then he's got a guaranteed Razzie coming his way.

My brain boggles at the wonder of Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy - they cast a blonde as a red head and a red head as a blonde... what is wrong with the world?

#2 was okay but I got annoyed at the triple unmaskings of Spider-Man, even if they did have different meanings for the characters witnessing it.
