Yep, it was, but that's no excuse. The Beastie Boys Criterion was distributed by EMI and carried none of the problems of Tenenbaums.

I think he meant that the Season 1 boxed set is out on that date. The label handling the Fraggle Rock releases has released a best of single disc, but not a season set as of yet.

I hate format wars. Next on the horizon (and much sooner than Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD) is SACD vs. DualDisc (the new version of DVD-Audio, which will play on both conventional CD players and DVD players).

Ouch, Chaltab. I suppose I shouldn't gloat and say that my first class is @ 4:30pm.

As to no choice, I guess I could go for a write-in, but there still seem to be some fundamental flaws with the whole process. While I like the idea of the President being separate from the ruling party (we don't have that luxury with the Prime Minister in Canada), the method of registering voters seems scattershot and ripe for fraud. In Canada we have voter lists that are maintained by Revenue Canada; you simply opt in or out of your addressing and citizenship information being used to create a voter list. If you opt out, you have to jump through several hoops in order to be allowed to vote.
