Oh, and RC Cola rocks.
Is this what you meant?

Atlanta, December 07, 2005 - The Coca-Cola Company today announced that it will launch Coca-Cola Blak in January in France, the first of several countries – including the United States - that are expected to introduce the new Coca-Cola and coffee fusion in 2006.

Coca-Cola Blak is an invigorating and stimulating blend that has a perfect balance of the effervescent taste sensation of Coca-Cola and natural flavors, with real coffee. The lightly carbonated, mid-calorie beverage, which is designed to appeal to adult consumers, is yet another example how The Coca-Cola Company reaches out to new audiences and addresses new beverage occasions.

"Coca-Cola Blak is not just a flavor extension. It is a blend of unique Coke refreshment with the true essence of coffee and has a rich smooth texture and has a coffee-like froth when poured. We believe we have created a new category of soft drink – an adult product in a carbonated beverage – and a whole new drinking experience. This brand is ideal for any part of the day when people are looking for renewed energy or simply to take a break," said Marc Mathieu, vice president, Global Core Brands, The Coca-Cola Company.

This is just as disturbing as when SNL did their "Crystal Gravy" spoof. As curious as I usually am, I will be passing on this one.

The computer dilemma
Time
As much as I've always said that I'd switch to Mac given the chance, I now face a dilemma. We've just come into a serious amount of cash and would like to upgrade our computer. We'd also like to buy a videocamera. I've looked into upgrading our PC and to do the upgrades we would need to accomplish any sort of video editing, we're looking @ ~$750.00 (New case, motherboard, processor, 250 GB HD, 1GB ram). A new Mac Mini Core Duo would cost us about $929. The mini DV camera we're looking at is $450.00. I'm torn, since the mac would come with iLife, which would mean I wouldn't need to really buy any editing software. Input from anyone? I have a pretty good idea what Bossk and DAYV are going to say, but what about everyone else?

P.S. the dollar figues above are Canadian dollars.

Saw it on Tuesday. I thought Portman's performance was fine, but I felt that it was yet another "gay agenda" movie. The film makes great strides to talk about the various persecutions that people in England suffered as a a result of the rise of the High Chancellor, but every example of persecution turns out to be either anti-gay or anti-dissident, with the scales tipped heavily in favour of the former. I would have preferred a more balanced approach, perhaps along the lines of seeing how other minorities were persecuted, because the cast seemed curiously "whitewashed."
I haven't read the graphic novel so I don't know how accurate a portrayal of the source it was. Can anyone fill me in?

B-52s Ricky Wilson died of AIDS. Several members of Lynyrd Skynyrd died in a plane crash. The rock & roll landscape is littered with casualties.
