The point isnt to make a movie out of the action, its to watch just the action scenes. Similar to how one member on this board made a disk of just lightsaber duels from starwars. Some movies I like to watch just for the action sequences and nothing else (the 2 matrix sequels come to mind). I think there may be others who feel the same way about other movies. I do plug in movies every once in a while just to watch the action scenes, such as enter the dragon, not that I think its a bad movie but the action scenes are what I love to watch. Like I was saying you could do volumes, Best Fights, Best Battles ect..

I had an idea for all the fan editors. I was thinking it would be cool to make a series of movies that had only action scenes from movies. Obviously since most times you would have maybe 10-30 minutes per movie you could put several movies on a disk. I dont know how good of an idea it was but I just thought Id throw it out there.

The energy wave wouldn't really have been a problem in the Alderaan explosion because only the death star (which presumable had a pretty good energy shield) was nearby but Yavin IV would have been pretty hard hit if one was produced from the explosion of the death star so its definitely going in this edit.

The destruction is going to be as quick as it is in the official releases because , originally when i intended to stretch out the destruction of Alderaan, i completely forgot about Obi-Wan's line straight after.

This indicates to me that the Destruction of Alderaan was very quick and adding the extra shot, although it would have looked pretty cool, would make that line pretty incorrect. So they're all gone.

I remember looking at a star wars site that applied real world science to a lot of the aspects of the movies (i.e. the fall out from the second death star destruction causing a holocaust on endor) that could help you with finding a good looking explosion it might just help in general too. I have to search around and try to find it again though. Ill try to get post it up ASAP (unless another member knows what Im talking about)

Didnt remember it was from TF.N so I dont know how much it means to members around here.

For anyone interested in forum user bars (what you see in Sluggo and my sigs) heres some links to help you get started

This site has practically everything you need, including a Userbar animator found here

If you don't find what your looking for this allows you create your own user bar with the presets

And for the people who want to get really fancy this tutorial lets you make one from scratch using Photoshop

Ive been waiting for someone to color correct ESB for a while it looks awesome, great work so far.

Have you considered re painting the lightsabers, I know they look better than before but vaders saber still has a pink look to it

Marv showed me a great program that allows you repaint lightsabers really easily and quickly, let me know if your interested

First off thank you so much for uploading these files GoodMusician

I was wondering if you could help me out or anyones whose downloaded these already. I looking for a particular score and can not find it anywhere

If you click on this this link the section of the score Im looking for starts right after the Rebel trooper says " Be prepared to defend our position and repel the Imperials," Do you or anyone know if that score is on any of the files you uploaded in this thread?

Sorry for the obtuse way to let you hear what Im looking for, its the only trailer I know that has the score.

Would it be possible to work towards getting the site upgraded? At the very least could we increase the PM folder size for users I think most would agree it fills up quickly. If the mods asked for donations Im sure enough would be able to help assist with an upgrade.

Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas?
