Even with that said I'd still like to see a mock up of what it might look like.

Me to.  I also have some questions about the idea, but I think the pros weigh out the cons.  I would like to see the saga end on a planet like Coruscant.  It would be cool seeing it rain and lightning or something like in ROTS. These explanations for it staying on the DS aren't very strong at all IMO. 

the Emperor being on the DS2 is the rebels main reason for giving it their all.

So thats an excuse?  The rebels are going all out anyway.  In ANH, the rebels gave it there all, Palps wasn't present. ( I know there lifes were on the line...but they would still give there all if they werent.)

Let's not also forget that the Rebel leader woman even says "...and the Emperor himself will be there."

Too many things would need to be re-worked?  You guys wan't to put the Emperor on a flying saucer.  Not alot would need to be changed that come to the top of my head.   

Also keep in mind that the whole thing was a trap set up by Palpatine and he wanted a front row seat... this is not something he wants to Tivo and watch on his crappy 20" hologram projector.

Mabey he doesn't want a front row seat?  When does he say this in the movie?  I don't see this as a excuse to keep Palps on DS II.

Look, I know things will need to be re-done, but if we need these kind of changes, I think seeing Coruscant would be better.  It feels more threatning that Luke has to go up against the  Emperor ( in the Imperial Capital), rather than Palps sort of going to him.

It's an interesting idea, lets AT LEAST see some mockups of this.

If you moved the throne room scenes to Coruscant Palpatine and Vader are in no immediate threat.

When I watch the movie, that's not what I'm thinking about.  Also, isn't that make sense there in no threat.  Palps should be smart enough to learn from the destruction of the first DS explosion.  Palps was smart enough to play both sides of the coin in the PT.

This film isn't about the DS explosion at the end of the film.  Vader and Palps are already dead, so what's your point here?  I'm probably misunderstanding you.

Lastly, I think the palace in space crap is nonsense.  Palps should be on Coruscant, like most people assume he is.  Not floating around in space, talk about putting yourself in danger.

Now obviously the shuttle scene would need to be taken out of the beginning, which I think Ady was taking most of the beginning out anyway.

The conversation between Vader and Palps could easily be done through hologram. 

Now the most imporant (and the most climatic) duel in the saga would immediatly be more epic just by having be on Coruscant.  This could just be me. 

This would also cut alot of redundancy between DS and DS II. 

It would eliminate the question, "how did Luke get off the DS so fast"?

The windows could be easily filled in with Coruscant cityscapes.

It would overall give the whole film a fresh feel.

If you guys want to move the throne room, why not move it to Coruscant?  I'd rather see that then a floating space needle.

Do you guys think Lucas is aware of Ady's work?  He probably does, but does he even care?

Interesting shaner, but that would be toying with the plot too much an couldn't be pulled off from the existing footage we have to work with.  You would need to explain that throughout the movies and it just wouldn't be possible.  The goal isn't to change how Anakin came DV, but tell it in a different way to make the movie better.  Your idea is like another movie.

how can he make them into 3D.   Don't movies have to be filmed that way?   If I'm not mistaken,  you film the movie with 2 cameras,  one for each eye.   That's how you get the 3D effect right?

No, GL can go back and convert them, but it would cost alot of money.  Apparently, the cost of converting a traditional 2-D movie into 3D is between $50,000 and $100,000 per minute. 

Those are some awesome ideas, the kind of ideas that could put that new feel to an already dark film.  But, these will be tough, and it would take alot of time. 

Bingo's idea would explain everything and it would give you a sick feel to your stomach watching the films 1-6.

But wouldn't Bens line in ANH "A young Jedi named Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned evil" give it away? Or at least the idea of it.

Now that is the best idea I have ever heard. It would also explain why his acting is soo unstable. He should really seem crazy. He already does!!!

If GL directed the movie with Bingo's idea in mind, Hayden would of won an Oscar.  :)

Do you remember Jack Rubio. He got hired by Lucasfilm for doing something with TPM. He still works for them and even has directed a Clone Wars episode. So history is hopefully with Ady.

I don't know if I want to sign it. Once the OOT is released on Blu-ray, then no-one will buy the next edition, which could be Adywan's someday. I feel that if Adywan can turn ROTJ into a four-star movie like ANH and ESB, why wouldn't he look into him to help with an Ultimate edition?

Lets get realistic here, GL will not realease just the OOT on Blu-ray. Just because a hundred people on a website ask for it doesn't mean its going to happen. His Blu-Ray DVD will be an Ultimate edition with more changes to it. Hopefully he takes the easy way out and hires Adywan.

What about Revenge of the Empire for ESB? (this is just a thought, I like ESB better) Change III to Rise of the Empire or Fall of the Republic/Jedi. Definatly change AOTC, it doesn't even sound serious. It sounds like a low budget geeky sci-fi film. How about A/The Galaxy Dividing.

I don't think he will, since I'm guessing he will just add Revisited to the title.  He can't say Fall of the Jedi Revisited.  Although, I would love to see AOTC renamed.

I always thought Phantom Menace was a terrible title since it was first announced and Attack of the Clones is misleading.

I like the Phantom Menace title.  The only thing that is wrong with it is the title is about a character who is seen like 4 times and then dies.  The title should be more about Anakin.

I don't like AOTC's title.  Bingowings had a really nice idea of A/The Galaxy Torn Apart.  I would much rather see that, but I personally think Ady will keep all the titles and just add Revisted to the end of them. 

Also, nice edit of the Dooku scene mrbenga. 

I still think finding dialouge for this scene will be very difficult to pull off. You'd be better trying to find a real good inpersonater. The Clone Wars would have some cool stuff to use. Making it flow will be very hard to do.

Did anyone else notice that Clive Reville's name is still listed in the credits?

I was wondering what should be done with it.

i say just a thought to improve visual and de retroize the noise look (it has been mentioned before) is to take the exposure/light concept that we see in ROTS

It is an idea, but I would prefer to leave it the same.  It would take some of the emotion away from ROTS.  Also, adding it would shift the focus away from what is supposed to be going on in the scene.  Eye candy can't interfere with important plot advancing scenes. 

That matte is beautiful. Now where would it fit best?

We didn't see problems like this in the PT. I think it should be fixed, although it really isn't necessary.

I had a couple more thoughts.  Will we see General Grievous in AOTC in any edit? 

Also, I thought about this watching DarkJedi3P0's sweet video; if Ady is re-inserting Boba's old voice in ESB, he most likely won't make Jango into Boba.  I would like to see Ady work with DarkJedi3P0 and see if he can't re-dub Jango because I prefer Jason Wingreens voice over TM's. 

Theres not alot yet to do with ESB (from what we've seen and heard from Ady) besides enhancment of backgrounds, panaling, etc.  ESB is too good already to be messing with stuff that's going to have to be changed for ROTJ-PT to make them better. There's going to be alot more to talk about for ROTJ changes wise.

I'm getting ready for the focus to change from ESB to ROTJ.  I know it won't happen now but hopefuly sometime soon.  I can't wait to see how good an average SW movie can get.  

It would just be a cut scene or down in a corner.  I'm not going to make a big deal about it, I just thought I'd through the idea out there.

I really like the touch of the red light.  I don't know what it is but it adds life and more realism to the shot.

Also, up the page, the interior of the AT-AT looks amazing.  Personally, that is something that must be updated.

I have just a quick idea, In ROTS, in the battle of kashyyyk, I think it would be cool to show a wookie pull out the arms of droids. This would make more sense of what Han said in ANH.
