No, never came out. It was supposed to be a joint project with Sony, but then they changed their mind and released the Sony PlayStation.

Sony didn't change their minds.  Nintendo screwed them over by showing up with their new gf, Phillips, at a con instead.  Well, hell hath no fury like a Sony scorned, so they showed the world by making the PlayStation.

Star Wars on Blu in 2011?

I'm so glad he hasn't done a six movie set, and I hope he never does.  It's for the best that the two trilogies are considered as separate as possible.  All a six movie boxset will do is make it too difficult to shake the notion, and, knowing Lucasfilm, it will be impossible to purchase the movies separately for several years... not that I'll buy it at all unless the OOT is on there.  Honestly, I'm not even sure I'd buy it if it had that I've purchased these damned things so many times, but it's the only thing that would budge me.

REALLY??!?!!  I thought you were into Gaffer Tape or Davnes lol!!!

Nah, he doesn't have a chance with Gaffer. Gaffer Tape is like that insanely hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with because she is so sweet and not a stuck up bitch like many pretty girls tend to be during their HS years and she doesn't try to pretend you don't exist, and since she isn't always hanging off the arm of some jock she seems obtainable to you even though she is honestly way out of your league... then one day you are taking a stroll in the park and spot her sitting on a park bench making out hard and heavy with some skinny little short haired guy, only upon a second look you realize she is actually making out with that weird reclusive goth girl who always sits in the back of class and at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks... and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all, not that that is going to stop you from dreaming...

Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Wow.  That's just the coolest thing ever.  Plus one.  I need to put that in my sig.  Hmm... will it fit?

EDIT:  Whoops.  Guess not...

Correct viewing order of ALL official Star Wars related movies / series ?

I don't agree.

They're prequels, so they have to be watched before the original trilogy.

Hmm, then it seems like you're unaware of what the term "prequel" means.  It's a pre-sequel.  It's a sequel that, chronologically, happens to take place before the movie it is following.  Therefore, like any other sequel, prequels should be watched after the movies that precede it.

Great movies you hate.

Hmm, not sure. I still haven't done the '43 Batman serial yet.  But I've had ideas.  Big, honkin' ones!

As for Batman & Robin, I just liked Schumacher's quote that he certainly didn't mean to upset anyone with the movie.   His only motivation was to entertain.  And it really did sound heartfelt and meaningful.  And, really, I've always found the movie entertaining enough... well, actually, one of my big honkin' ideas was to actually do the reverse of most Batman & Robin reviews and do a review of things I actually liked about that film because, while a lot of it was a bit piece of garbage, there were certain elements that I thought were really good and could have been taken in good directions.

The "I definitely won't be seeing that." thread
Time

I don't know.  I actually went to see it without ever having read any Sherlock Holmes stories (except for The Hound of the Baskervilles in high school, and I don't really remember it).  I enjoyed it, although Holmes and Watson seemed quite a bit more like Batman and Robin or a pair of ninjas than anything else.  It prompted me to check out the entire collection of canonical short stories from the library, which I have been enjoying for the past month, but I can hardly say from reading them that they movie was anything like it.  Honestly, Watson is much MORE competent in the film than he ever seemed to be in the stories.  Holmes's cocaine addiction and general reclusiveness is played up an extraordinary amount.  And Irene Adler, like most Holmes fanfiction, is given a much larger role (and a role much more romantically linked to Holmes) than she ever had in the canon.

So my verdict:  definitely worth seeing, and I thought it was a good movie, but it's very much the Star Trek 2009 version of Sherlock Holmes.

And just so you know:  I'm Gaffer Tape!  I do my research!  You all suck!  Mwahahahaha!

Discussion: Another... FAIL Star Wars Toys Review
Time

Heh, fair enough.  I mean, I certainly do see what you mean, but to look at the broader picture, I could certainly see a lot of people lumping us in the same category because we spend a lot of time on this message board.  To us, there is a very large difference, but to a lot of other people, we're just as "losery" as the rest.  And if we can validate ourselves, I'm sure that at least some of these uber toy collectors could justify themselves as well.  But that said, do they need to?  Whose validation do they need?
