Well, what's the purpose of only inverting the dungeons? If they can make link right-handed in the overworld without changing the rest of the game, why do it in the dungeons?

Yeah, there have been people on these boards who have bought the Pan and Scan version, so they'd have the widescreen version of the OOT and still be able to take larger screen caps from the fullscreen version of the SE.

EDIT: Well, I was about to post something in your thread when I realized that not only do I have the most recent post there already, but your thread has more replies to it than mine does, so it doesn't seem like your coolitude is in any real danger.

Yeah... BeeJay, I think you're a little confused there as to the nature of "letterboxed" widescreen vs. "anamorphic" widescreen. I really doubt any fans of the '04 set is complaining about it not being presented in a technically inferior manner that makes it harder to watch on widescreen TVs.

Yeah, I'm glad I don't have to worry about writing papers on a typewriter. I'm a pretty good typist, but I'd drive myself nuts worrying about making typing mistakes. I love the backspace key. Even newer typewriters with built-in correction ribbon takes forever if you get off on a tangent and realize, "Oh, this paragraph isn't what I wanted to say." Prepare to spend ten minutes deleting everything.

I'll tell you what's NOT cool, though: when you're an online college-curriculum-based computer program, and you won't let me take a Chemistry test because you claim I've already taken it even though I haven't because you're a stupid computer program and can't figure these things out thereby possibly screwing me out of a very important class grade. So, yeah, if you want to be cool... DON'T DO THAT!!!

That's all fine and dandy, but think about it this way: pre-dinner snacks (or appetizers) are generally much less expensive than dinner (or the main course). So why should we have been expected to pay full price for something that was just to tide us over for the real thing?

Also, the main alien characters in the OT spoke their own language, rather than Basic, and it was represented through subtitles. There are so many different species and examples in the PT that if they had everyone speak an alien language, nearly all the movie would be in subtitles, and most of the audience wouldn't put up with that.

Hmm, interesting, although I'll probably just stick with the sensor bars if and when I get a Wii, but if I ever lose them, that'll be good to know.
