STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

No it is not… If the person doing whatever they want to do with a film and doing an edit is reluctant to release that is understandable until they feel it is ready…

Nobody has to put any input other than the creator… But this is a team of pretty skilled people… even then would whatever you propose be good enough? Probably not…

The thing is it’s all good and well saying contribute… But at the end of the day let’s be honest don’t contribute something that cannot compare to ā€œthe standardā€. And if you cannot reach or exceed the desired standard then you are simply not good enough for what the project dictates.

people just want to see it and to be honest that is fair enough. Stop bashing people for expressing desire and get over it.

It’s not evil. People have waited and waited and fair enough it’s been delayed but honestly fuck off if you think people can’t express their desire to see something they appreciate and admire. Perhaps they don’t put it in the correct manner of speaking like I have but. People really are excited and they don’t know how to say they want to see it other than… ā€œIs it done yet?ā€

Just relax and stop bashing people for being excited and we all hope it will be amazing because if it was not delayed then it would not have had any extra thought. It’s evidence of extra ā€œHang on a minute!ā€ thinking and loving the source and that can be nothing but a very good thing.

Whoa! Calm down! I wasn’t bashing anyone, and I never said we couldn’t express our desire to see something that they appreciate. I’m just saying that they really shouldn’t act like it is owed to them.

Also, you don’t need to be rude and say ā€œfuck off.ā€

People bitching about it not being done pissed me off in the first place and every single one of you should be ashamed of yourselves. I know the post is a few months old but this kind of shit is what drove Adywan away from the forum in the first place and I’m sure he won’t want to come back after reading your impatient passive-agressive comments. The least you could do is offer help if you want it done so badly.

I know, really? It’s really shameful when people think they’re entitled to another person’s finished project without any contribution.

Did a second take on burning version 2.7. Much better this time around šŸ˜‰

I plan on making a copy for my nephew when he turns 3 years old in 2018, just how my uncle made a bootleg VHS copy for me in the early 80’s (before the official home video for purchase came out). By then, maybe 3.0 will be out šŸ˜„

Just make sure your nephew owns the official Blu-Rays šŸ˜‰

LOL well, I’ll make sure his dad – my brother – owns a copy šŸ˜‰

I suppose I could try again if an ISO file of version 2.7 becomes available. For the most part, I just use Power2Go. For Despecialized 2.7, I had to use ImgBrn.

Hmm. Are you glossing over the tsmuxer (or other remuxing) step or have you actually been talking about the AVCHD? If the latter, it is still coming directly from 2.5. However, I assume of course that you are comparing 2.5 AVCHD to 2.7 AVCHD and not doing something silly like comparing the mkv of one to the AVCHD of the other. 😃

I am comparing the AVCHDs

Just finished burning and watching Star Wars Despecialized v2.7, and…well, I’m not trying to sound mean or nitpicky, but I had a few issues where some sound effects were drowned out. The static sound when Princess Leia’s message repeats as well as some laser fire and explosions were mute for example, and on the mono audio track I could barely hear Luke’s lightsaber during the training scene on the Falcon.

It may have been my fault when burning the BDMV copy to a disc. Is anyone else having this issue?

Well, this is the Return of the Jedi thread. But, aside from that, Harmy (and I) does not do the audio side of things. The audio tracks actually haven’t been changed in years. So general audio questions might be better suited for hairy_hen’s thread, since these are his tracks. But the other thing is that you didn’t mention which of the many audio tracks you’re trying. Is it the first track? That’s 5.1 audio, are you using a 5.1 system? How does the second track, which is stereo, sound?

My mistake. My brain took the day off today ^^;

I kinda switched between the 5.1 and the mono track. I haven’t listened to the 2.0 stereo sound yet.

Has anyone else noticed the font for the subtitle, ā€œThe Empire Strikes Back,ā€ and ā€œThe Force Awakensā€ in their opening crawls are TFF Franklin Gothic Demi while the other subtitles are Univers LT Std 49 Light Ultra Condensed?

Way ahead of you šŸ˜‰

http://originaltrilogy.com/post/id/929655

The crawl has been redone from scratch for ESB:R and it is a template that will be used for all 6 films, so each crawl will match

Awesome!!! Looking forward to ESB:R, Ady šŸ˜‰

Not suggesting this for Empire Revisited, but just wondering if Ady noticed it and thought to redo Empire’s crawl with the matching font used for A New Hope and Return of the Jedi?

 • possibly trim Finn’s reaction to the village and his ā€œfriendā€ being killed (i can understand him becoming overwhelmed, but he is a stormtrooper and you’d think he would be used to death)

That was actually Finn’s first mission as stormtrooper. It’s confirmed later in the movie when he confesses to Rey who he really is. He says to her, ā€œOn my first battle, I made a choice : I wasn’t going to kill for them.ā€ So even though Finn was a stormtrooper, he had never actually killed anyone at that point in his life.

But that fight will be between Obi-Wan and Anakin, and therefore we know that Vader did not ā€œbetray and murderā€ Luke’s father, as Obi-Wan tells him later.Ā So tim’s right, the whole fight would have to be removed.

No, that lightsaber duel was the best of the entire saga.

oh, it really wasn’t . All flash and no substance

I don’t mean any disrespect. I’m just asking out of curiosity:

Isn’t more ships added to the space battle and pasted shots of Yavin in the background of ā€œA New Hopeā€ also kinda all flash and no substance? They weren’t exactly the main focus of the battle scene.

Again, just asking out of curiosity. If my question offends you, I’m sorry.

Working on v2 of my alternate crawl for ā€œThe Phantom Menaceā€ and I did a complete reworking of the paragraphs:

Episode I

THE PHANTOM MENACE

The galaxy is in turmoil.
Generations of peace and
justice have been disrupted
by corruption and greed.

For intentions that are
currently unknown, the Trade
Federation has formed a
blockade of starships around
the small planet of Naboo.

Two Jedi Knights, the
guardians of the Galactic
Republic, have been secretly
dispatched to the blockade
to settle the dispute before the
conflict would end in a war…

My intention is to make the structure similar to that of ā€œA New Hope.ā€

I know, but I thought it would fit since it was based on a 90s VHS box.

Is Disney’s logo nowhere on the official BD?

I imagine the Blu-Ray would have the Disney blu-ray logo (and Disney DVD logo for the stand alone DVD version) on the box. The ā€œWalt Disney Home Videoā€ logo was used on VHS releases.

Edit : Either that or ā€œWalt Disney Home Entertainmentā€ logo would be on the cover of both Blu-Ray and DVD release.

THE WASHINGTON POST – George Lucas: To feel the true force of ā€˜Star Wars,’ he had to learn to let it go

Lucas can make all the changes he wants, but should also give more respect to the originals, the ones which made Star Wars what is today. I’ll never understand why he can’t do like Scott and release both versions, is he THAT ashamed of his early works?
In any case, I understand his take on Han, but his ā€œGreedo shot firstā€'s edit looks terrible and awkward, not the way to go.

Definitely! Lucas wouldn’t have been able to finance his special edition releases had the original unaltered versions not be as successful as they were.

How will you be watching the saga in preparation for Force Awakens?
Time

Chronological Order:

Episode 1 - Blu-Ray version

Episode 2 - DVD version

Clone Wars Mini series (ā€œThe Clone Warsā€, I won’t do this time around, but will probably do on the countdown to Episode 9)

Episode 3 - DVD version

Episode 4-6 - Despecialized Versions

Alternatively, I will search out and download the Prequel Fanedit titles mentioned šŸ˜‰
