Ouch! Sorry to hear all of that unnecessary crazy stuff happened to Ady. I think that’s one of the reasons why Lucas disguised the filming of “Return of the Jedi” under the fake name “Blue Harvest.” Hopefully, things will start getting better for Ady around March/April of this year.
Hi, adywan
During the Sarlaac Pit scene when Han is aiming the blaster at the Sarlaac’s tentacle around Lando’s leg, will you be keeping Han’s original line “It’s alright, trust me” or the SE “It’s alright, I can see a lot better”?
As a suggestion, I would say using the original one.
If this is up for discussion then I agree. The original line is building their relationship again after the betrayal at Cloud City while the SE line is making a joke during a moment of dramatic seriousness, deflating the tension as we wait to see if he will shoot the Sarlacc or Lando.
Val
On the other hand, IMO, “Trust me,” doesn’t sound as reassuring as “I can see a lot better.”
Made this custom blu-ray cover for “Jaws” based on the theatrical movie poster from 1975.
And this one was inspired by the Japanese B2 poster for the sequel.
Just came across this: Link to website removed by moderator - let’s not give them the publicity they wish for.
- Find a way to relocate her character out of the main events.
Hopefully, Lucasfilms won’t see this (or else they may not use it), but an idea could be to have Leia go to Ach-tu (or another planet with a Jedi temple) to connect with the spirits in an effort to make peace with her father and learn from him and Luke on how to become one with the Force. It could be explained in the opening crawl for episode 9 or a line of dialogue from one of the other characters.
Unlike my two previous Blu-Ray cover designs, which were designed strictly for the Despecialized Edition, this custom design is intended for ALL 3-in-1 Original Trilogy sets. I was inspired by this poster : http://i.imgur.com/dynJlyt.jpg
It was two moons until AOTC showed 3 in the sky.
Just a small theory, but what if the third moon either is behind the camera or, at some point in the years between AOTC and ANH, the third moon simply just fell out of orbit and floated away?
I am very glad Ady will be adding some more B-wings and new pilot scenes, I would love to see the executor being taken down by B-wings. He could totally keep the scenes on the Bridge … but take out the crashing A-wing and instead have a 3 B-wing Squad do a full blast on the bridge.
I’m all for more B-Wings, but I hope the A-Wing still takes out the Super Destroyer bridge.
Ady has said that he will be recreating the famous production art of the B-Wings taking out a couple regular Destroyers*, which will add even more epic scale and destruction to the battle.*
Dang, that would look so awesome on the customized Blu-Ray covers! 😄
I’m super glad that Ady is gonna remove “Jedi Rocks” and (hopefully) restore “Lapti Nek.” While I don’t hate “Jedi Rocks,” I feel it was disrespectful to remove “Lapti Nek” in the first place since it was composed by Joseph Williams, the son of John Williams. Imagine how pissed off Joseph must have been to have his only contribution removed from the movie.
Lapti Nek is pretty awful too.
The soundtrack version is pretty good 😃 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfyLDh_Ea3w

That is not Ady’s fault really, the shots are in the wrong order that is why the storm troopers are inconsistant. I looked at this part for years it’s really confusing but once you re-arrange it it starts to make more sense. But I don’t think Ady wanted to re-arrange the sequence. There are 2 shots missing and one pulled from another sequence where they run through the hall part which was flipped. But the footage was never released where the citizens of cloud city shot the storm troopers. It was like a rebellion against the empire scene on cloud city. It’s in the script and it was filmed.
The storm trooper on his own shooting behind the pillar is the one we see dead earlier with the group of storm troopers coming into the area. The shots are in the wrong order of sequence.
This was my final guess at in what order the shots were meant to be in. Key word here is guess. you can trust quite a bit of it not the start though.
Also I think pretty impossible to fix. Smoking R2-D2 is also from the part where he electrocutes himself. But it is also possible that they never left the door where R2-D2 electrocuted himself.
Watching your video reminds me. I wonder why the shot of Chewie and R2 being pursued by that one Stormtrooper wasn’t flipped to correction (R2’s holo-projector should be on the left side of his eye, and yet it’s still on the right side in “Revisited.”)
I would never dream of holding anything against Ady when it comes to this part or any part of the film tbh. But I would love to see somone including myself simply try a chronological edit with some fixes.
It has to do with the missing shoot out between cloud city citizens and stormtroopers that is all. Like I said really difficult to cure that.
For a while I thought it went after Bob a fett flies off but it is to do with the missing shootout.
All the same, I don’t think flipping that one shot of Chewbacca, R2 and the Stormtrooper horizontally would have changed its meaning.

My friends, remember : “Don’t feed the troll” 😉
Complaining about people who sell fan projects is a big waste of time, and is flirting with disaster, IMO.
Its like you are growing pot in your basement and giving it out for free to your circle of close friends. Then you find out someone that got some of your free pot is selling it and making a profit off of your hard work. So what do you do? You call up the local newspapers, police, etc. and complain that there are people selling your freely distributed pot…AH HELLO?
Come on people, soon the police are bound to get the clue and come knocking at your door to see all of your free pot for themselves…
Either keep giving away free pot or don’t but please stop broadcasting your displeasure to the whole world. The scum that sell this stuff will never be caught, but it is us that will eventually pay the price for bitching about too loudly.
Again just my opinion.
That’s actually a very good point. And let’s face it, when has complaining ever accomplished anything good?
This is promising news!
What was plan B again?
Reverting to the 1980 theatrical cut of “Empire” where we never really see what the Wampa looks like.

Second version of my “Despecialized Trilogy” Blu-Ray cover
These are very awesome, thanks for the hard work! I really REALLY like your blurbs. Well-worded, basically perfect.
Only a few TINY things.
- Wookiee is spelled with two Es and is usually capitalized I believe.
- You said “climatic” and meant “climactic”. Climatic refers to the climate.
- You forgot to capitalize Dark Side in the ROTJ blurb.
Amazing work, Predator.
And again, THANKS!
Thanks for pointing those out for me. I’ll fix those little errors ASAP
You’re welcome again
Update : Fixed typing errors 😃
HA!! So would I 😄

(also still trying to figure out how to post images directly into blog posts)
They all look good - but the Trilogy boxset one looks great mate - nice one - and thanks for sharing 😃

EDIT : figured out how to post images directly into blog posts 😄
The thing that always felt weird for me was Han telling Chewie to lock in the auxiliary power twice.
It felt like two takes spliced together rather than Chewie being slow on the uptake.
Maybe it was to up the urgency of the scene a little. Just a wild guess 😃
Harry Needs To Create The Empire Strikes Back Respecialized Edition '97 & Return Of The Jedi Respecialized Edition '97
Oh good. At least Harmy won’t have to stress over it anymore. Best of luck with it, Harry.
Maybe Marv will help him out 😃
