I had a chance to play the Star Wars Battle Pod tonight at that bowling alley I always go to. Awesome stuff. I even hit the top of the leaderboard even though I crapped out on two missions!

So last night, I brought along my copy of the Despecialized Edition to a group showing of Star Wars, and we ended up watching that instead. I'm not sure what they thought of it, but I did find out that at least one of them hadn't seen the original film before then. All the same, we were saved from the evil 2011 version of the movie!
Moffat is now a murderer. He killed the Master. Major character of the series. This is inexcusable, I'm not staying around for the Christmas special!

I wasn't looking forward to this one. At all. I knew it was going to be a screwup - but you know, I wanted to give it a chance, so I gave it a chance, and it has just PISSED ME OFF AND RUINED MY WHOLE GODDAMN WEEKEND!!!
Actually it's a bit like a Ship of Theseus. Question: you take a broom, you replace the handle. Then, later, you replace the brush. And you do that over and over again. Is it still the same broom? No, but you can still sweep the floor! Which is not strictly relevant. But what if you replace the handle and brush with duplicates of the original?
...well whatever. I'd choose Harmy's work. 's all I have really. Apart from my VHS tapes, of course.
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I'll wait til the reviews roll in, I suppose, and see where I'll go there.
