The Marvel Cinematic Universe
Time

Over the last two days, I re-watched the MCU films in order, from “Iron Man” up to and including “Thor:The Dark World”. Most of my opinions remain the same on these movies except that this time around I enjoyed “Iron Man II” and “THOR: The Dark World” a bit more. Also, I disliked the second half of “Iron Man III” even more then I had and just turned it off after Tony first meets Trevor.

What song lyrics inspire you to look forward to seeing the sun every day life allows you to?
Time

“Bridge Over Troubled Water”
Songwriter: Paul Simon

When you’re weary
Feeling small
When tears are in
Your eyes
I will dry them oh
I’m on your side
Oh when times get rough
And friends just can’t be found

Like a bridge
Over troubled water
I will lay me down
Sail on silver girl
Sail on by

Your time has come
To shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine

If you need a friends school look around I’m sailing
Right behind
Like a bridge
Over troubled water
I will ease your mind

Like a bridge
Over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Your mind
Ease your mind!

“Captain America: Civil War” - I enjoyed this for the most part. The formula is getting tiresome, but was handled competently. With no real character development and a number of obligatory scenes dedicated to setting up future story-line events (and having little to do with advancing the current plot-line), this film came off as a bit shallow.

Iron Man 8/10
The Incredible Hulk 7/10
Iron Man 2 6/10
Thor 5/10
Captain America: The First Avenger 6/10
The Avengers 8/10
Iron Man 3 5/10
Thor: The Dark World 5/10
Captain America: The Winter Soldier 7/10
Guardians of the Galaxy 8/10
Avengers: Age of Ultron 6/10
Ant-Man 8/10
Captain America: Civil War 7/10

Time

If you smile at me, I will understand
'Cause that is something everybody everywhere does
In the same language

I can see by your coat, my friend
You’re from the other side
There’s just one thing I got to know
Can you tell me please, who won the war ?

Say, can I have some of your purple berries?
Yes, I’ve been eating them for six or seven weeks now
Haven’t got sick once
Probably keep us both alive

Wooden ships on the water, very free and easy
Easy, you know the way it’s supposed to be
Silver people on the shoreline, let us be
Talkin’ 'bout very free and easy

Horror grips us as we watch you die
All we can do is echo your anguished cries
Stare as all human feelings die
We are leaving, you don’t need us

Go, take your sister then, by the hand
Lead her away from this foreign land
Far away, where we might laugh again
We are leaving, you don’t need us

And it’s a fair wind blowin’ warm
Out of the south over my shoulder
Guess I’ll set a course and go

“Wooden Ships” is a song written and composed by David Crosby, Paul Kantner, and Stephen Stills.
