If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place

Is it not too hard to understand how “ribbing” is just shorthand for “making light of the situation and then telling him to fuck off,” or must I always spell everything out to you fools?

You are continuing to chose to believe that “Ribbing” was the intent, even though it has been stated by me that it was NOT!

Jesus fucking christ some of you people have no concept of empathy. Grow up.

As a Cristian, I find real offense in this statement. But I’ll let it pass, not throw a hissy-fit, and I will refrain from calling the mods. 😛

Oh, I guess then that you can tell that offending one’s religion and ribbing one about a recently deceased close family member are not quite on the same level. You’re learning!

Now I was ribbing him about the death of his father? You people just love this drama so much you make shit up.

Warb is clearly (and understandably) having a difficult time with his father’s death, it’s unfortunate that some choose to ignore that.

This is where it becomes truly ridicules. Someone is ALWAYS having a sensitive issue. Like it was stated before, we all don’t chose to share these things. So I posted a video that was seen to be in bad taste. My bad. It was not meant as an attack on that forum member who is ALWAYS having sensitive issues. Some people just want to find offense in everything.

You should listen to your own video and not tell other people how to grieve.

When did I tell him how to grieve? What the hell man?

This seems a bit inappropriate as a follow-up post to someone saying they lost their father this year.

It could be taken that way, but was not meant to be hurtful and unfeeling.

Mind telling me exactly wtf it was meant to be then? What was the point in posting this?

It’s called “levity”.

Savages in action again.

Sorry, we’ll try to start insulting the recently deceased and claiming we’re never wrong, just like you do. I keep forgetting that’s what makes you the only civilized person here.

To be clear, that video was NOT insulting the recently deceased or people in mourning over a lost father. The video was showing how some people (Stephen Colbert’s character) try and control how others should feel and morn when they themselves have not and could not begin to deal with the death of their loved one. The video was supporting the right to mourn as one see fit. But of course over sensitive people made it into something it was not.

X and Y are quite different. Y much more effectively clears it up. X does not.

also

Levity: humor or frivolity, especially the treatment of a serious matter with humor or in a manner lacking due respect.

Now look up “narcissism”!

He didn’t.

LIE!

You are such a stereotypical trouble maker! I gave you an accurate one word answer and you just chose not to like it! Now with that said, FUCK OFF!

It should have been obvious but my comment was not directed at you. Impscum took a cheap shot at Carrie Fisher in another thread and then spent several posts arguing with a moderator trying to make excuses for it.
