Ha! I just discovered that you can see who is ignoring you, I didn't know FanFiltration hated me that badly!!

You know I forgot all about my doing that. I think I was all flustered on an issue or something.  It was by no way hatred, or personal. Just had to avoid my becoming pulled back into the topic. I think that was when I pulled out of all political and social hot button topics and started to drift more to the

"Tao of Frink"

Time

Thanks much! I'm still in the early planing stages, and will let you know when I am going to be around your area. I am dependent on my timeshare getting a trade in and the dates could be random. But I will be sure to give warning to all who post here that live in the U.K. when to be on the look out for the guy who will keep trying to drive on the wrong side of the road. *grin*

Me too...

I have failed to be productive in many ares of my life over the last year.

I know it is most likely just a temporary funk, but a funk none the less. I mean things are truly sad. I've even resorted to posting generic Google photos as my humors contributions to threads here. But, to be honest and serious. It's mostly out of a shear lack of enthusiasm to create anything. My fan edit work has also stopped.  I'm not about to take the sleeping pills or anything, but I can very much see I am not as engaged as I have been or want to be. Now, a lot of my friends also see this in their own lives and have expressed similar thoughts on the subject. From my personal perspective, this is a golden summer for a lot less folks, then it is.

I have yet to find the US version of  The Office has lost any of it's charm and ability to produce contextual facepalm slap injuries (I prefer it to the original series).

In The Loop was ok but The Thick Of It is painfully funny in the same toe curling 'I can't believe they just did that' sort of way.

Malcolm Tucker is the world's second funniest comedy bully (next to Jamie McDonald in the same show who is even more hilariously aggressive).

Just started to watch "The Thick Of It" tonight. It's brilliant!

Last film seen: "A Hard Day's Night" I've seen it over 100 times now, and it never gets old for me.

What would be better than a proper release of the OOT?

I was thinking of fans who would invest the sort of time, skill and effort that Adywan and Darth Editous put into their productions, but yes some fan films do bring on a shudder.  The Hunt for Gollum is really good.

I shall watch the other two you listed.  I have not seen them.

Some other well made (non Star Wars) stuff by fans and amateurs that is worth taking a look at, are the fan trailer "Grayson" and the student film series on youtube "Italian Spiderman".

I object to this obvious break of the rules! There is not one instance of spy here! The contestants were gumshoe detectives, ot spies. And as for Carmen? She was a crook! Unless you count the animated canon in which she was a former ACME spy herself.

I used her various shows to study my geography, as the Lab only had a poor Mercator projection. It has been quite useful in learning of places where it would be easiest to start my conquest.

In my defense....

In the show, the "gumshoe detectives" worked for ACME.

From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Carmen_Sandiego_characters

ACME

The ACME Detective Agency or ACME Crimenet (changed to ACME Timenet in Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?) is the organization that the user or protagonists always work for. The exact nature of the organization is never explained, but it appears to be concerned mainly with tracking down and capturing international criminals. Principally, ACME trains and employs agents who act as detectives, spies, and double agents against V.I.L.E.

Although the structure of ACME Headquarters varies, it is always located in San Francisco, often being depicted as well within view of San Franciscan landmarks such as the Transamerica Pyramid and the Golden Gate Bridge. Additionally, ACME usually has numerous field offices around the globe. An ACME training academy of some kind is often stated or alluded to exist, presumably located at its San Francisco headquarters.

I could not get passed the 3rd episode. I had no problem with it being dark. What I did have a problem with was how it was just a blatant mash-up of formulas working for other shows.  I found nothing original nor captivating about the plot devices, or the shows characters.

Lost+Buffy+Voyager+Eureka+SG1=  Stargate Universe
