Top ten dumbest Indy moments
Time

Temple of Doom had so much wasted potential. I still enjoy it, but it could have been just as good as Raiders with the right direction. I think George and Steven had a good idea, they just didn't execute it right.

It had it's good moments, but the bad ones outweighed them. I can look past the cheesey lines and annoying screaming.

Crystal Skull was an instant failure from the beginning. I was dying to see it, but for some reason I knew it was going to suck before I went to the theatre. I ignored my gut feeling and later wished I hadn't.

People wanted to see a new Indy film, but the smart thing to have done was to have left it alone.

I can live without another film. I read all the novels when I can and I find them rather enjoyable. Indiana Jones in film, ended for me with Last Crusade. I can bitch about Indy 4 for days, but is easier to just forget about it. I have done that with the Star Wars prequels, so I can do the same with Indy.

It isn't just Lucas and Spielberg destroying great franchises either. I cringe at the New Battlestar Galactica and the piece of Craprica. It is the nature of hollywood to do that. They take a big name and roll out their wheel-barrels to collect the money, whether or not they respected the franchise. George and Steven just happened to do that to their own franchise, making themselves look terrible.

question.. what's the difference between the is set and the other two (three?) sets you have already released?

ABC just keeps getting better. It is like a musician who records a song and thinks back to it and knows how he can fix it.

ABC is only trying to make these soundtracks as perfect as possible.

I have downloaded several versions of his ESB sets and each susscessor dominates the previous release.

The crispness becomes much better, and these new samples are so much more natural. The original releases had the channels leveled in a way that made things sound to far away. Or somewhere behind you. Cellos cut far to the right with no bleed to the left. It just always felt to manufactured, and ABC fixes that. It feels (as I should know) like an orchestra playing, rather than a recording of an orchestra playing.

No, it isn't crystal and reverberated. It is natural. Too many engineers these days, try to add extra highs and more lows and reverb to something that shouldn't. His equalization is that of a professional. He is to soundtracks as Ady is to Fan Edits. Quality Quality Quality. That is why I have compared him to Deutsche Grammophon.

It sounds like something Deutsche Grammophon would release.

... You've won a set !... lol ! Great.

(EDIT) More seriously thanks for this somehow "useful" input ;)

Well, I can be a good judge at that, because Deutsche Grammophon has a lot of my money.

Warb, don't apologize to Fink for thread hijacking! That is like apologizing to an expert bank robber for stealing his wallet-- DUDE! A cloud of smoke just zipped out of the forest and sucked up Indiana Jones, Ranger Walker, and that other guy, spitting them back out as shredded fleshy messes in the tree branched above us!

But then all of the sudden, out of the clearing.

But Vader turned from the dark side like10 minutes previous.  And Sith eyes only turn on when doing something totally evil...

Yes, and Ady will not add any sith eyes. I have a feeling that he is not going to add any sith eyes to these movies. He might take them away for all we know.

I have a feeling Sith Eyes will be a thing not featured in Revisited.

I can live without them. To me, they are as pointless as midichloreans.

Doubleofive......before you down too much caffeine, it is possible that Mcullum is an American born in Germany and raised in England via U.S. govt. or U.S. military parents? I was born and raised in Germany, and am an American. Parents were U.S. government employees. Just an idea, because Rick seems very American.

True, I have a friend with the same story as you.  That could make sense.  Of course, the lack of caffeine problem has restarted again, so lets not get into this too hard...

Bruce Willis was born in Germany to a German mother and a US Soldier father.

Many Aussies think Mel Gibson was born in Australia, but he only moved there when he was 12. He was actually born in New York. So that would explain how he could shed his accent so fast.

Dennis Miller is getting creamed.

Demitri Martin is awful COME ON!!!

Sarah Silverman is the worst EVER!!!

Have you ever watched her show? That woman talks about queefs and doodieballs. And people watch it. You would expect the show to be good.

I mean Brian Posehn is on there and he is funny for nerds. But the show is just pure garbage. I feel like I am getting dumber as I watch it.

Man, the original Metroid is HARD.

So is the original Zelda, if you didn't have the map. Which was what Nintendo Power was for.

I miss reading Nintendo Power. I gave up after the Gamecube came along. I used to read it as a way of seeing what I should buy. I bought soundtracks and beanie babies of mario, and action figures from zelda.

Well, listening to the Imperial March compared to several versions, it sounds  so much better. It sounds like something Deutsche Grammophon would release. I really like how it doesn't sound distant and to rumbly anymore.

The Duel sounds so much more like the real instruments. You don't fall were some people do in thinking that the Brass is supposed to be harsh. Actually at a live performance the brass is usually more mellow. I like the dynamic range very much. You made the sound more orchestral, in such a way that the instruments aren't melted together. I like your skills.

I love it!!!

I will be replacing every version of ESB with this set.

He's an easy punching bag but Carlos Mencia.

Seriously, for every joke he tells, he mentions three times how edgy and un-PC he is. Even if his jokes were funny that's 3/4 of not-even-trying-to-be-funny.

And really, he's not that edgy or un-PC. He's about middle of the road for modern commedians.

And he steals jokes. And he has been called out for it.

Worst Comedians Ever Thread!!!
Time

If you watch Comedy Central, you will notice that many of the comedians are NOT funny.

Who will win the award of least funny comedian.

Let's start it off:

Dane Cook: This guy just doesn't cut it. He proves that you can be the most successful unfunny comedian in the world. He wins awards, he has a LARGE fanbase, and he isn't funny at all.

His jokes usually consist of, "you remember_______" and they never have a punchline. He uses silly faces to make jokes. I think he uses those faces to cover up his horrible jokes. He is wild, and he is silly, but still NOT FUNNY. His persona is that of a dumb Frat boy, who uses drunken rants for cheap laughs. My one fear is that he will get a sketch comedy show. Like that awful Demitri Martin. Everybody wants to be Dave Chappell nowadays. He is hated by fellow comedians. Many have spoken against him.

Here is a video that speaks the truth

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy4zgCsgqyo

Now is your turn to take a comedian down. Repeating a name is encouraged, because that will count against the comedian. You can also list other comedians.
