I love CGI, until they do too much with it. I Am Legend would've been a great film if they had used real people. It is a special effect, and should be used as such. Most FX films had a lot of real elements with little CGI. The Prequels had a lot of CGI, with few real elements.

I just don't think we are quite "there yet" when it comes to realistic CGI in Live Action films. The best CGI I have seen just looked "Less fake".

Jurassic Park still holds up well all these years later. You notice the CGI, but it's so far in the background, that it works.

Spielberg is from the old school years of "Sleight of Hand" techniques in FX. George used to be as well, but he was too confident in CGI. CGI would've worked just fine if it had been used sparingly. TPM has aged the best of the PT, simply because it uses CGI the least.

It's not just this thread, it's the whole site. Funny how the years have gone by.  We all are completely different people, with different opinions, but here we are one big community with a love for Star Wars. I've belonged to more forums than I care to count, but for some reason, I can't go a day without coming on here to see what is going on. Ady, and several others here have put more love into these films than I can imagine. What is a single frame to some of us, is hours and hours of hard work. Some call it obsession, I call it love.

It feels like yesterday that I stumbled on here and made my first post. I thought I was going to get pushed out, yet everybody for the most part wanted to share their knowledge. This place is very open. We don't drag the waters to find out what makes us different, instead we focus on what makes us the same.

Now grab some crackers, because that was cheesy.

What some people don't get is the fact that Frink does his stuff in good intelligent humor.  If your offended by anything Frink says, you have no sense of humor, and will ultimately become the butt of the joke.

I sometimes wonder if Vbangle is joking around, because if he is, he is the next Andy Kaufman. Which is also kind of a bad thing, because Andy Kaufman was only funny in hindsight.

Loss is such a terrible thing to go through. Just remember all the good times you had with your father. Remember that you were there. I am sure your Dad would be very proud of you.

If there is anything you need, we are all here. Take a long break and be with your family.

I would forgive him for being an idiot. He is a bullshitter, a dumbass, an asshat, a douchebag, and a pompous wanker.

He hinders more than he helps. He sits on his ass all day, and talks about how hard of a worker he is. Then he lies all the time. He essentially talks about how much badass shit he has done in his life, when the amount of time I see him on his ass makes me doubt it.

Then when I talk about something I am highly educated in, he jumps in like he knows what I am talking about, and says stupid shit that doesn't even make logical sense. When you call him out on something, he'll swear up and down he is right.

He talks about how tech savvy he is, yet every-time he touches something, I have to fix it.

I have been nice to him all I can, to keep harmony with my sister, but I am at the point were I see red when I hear his voice.

My parents both hate him, but he uses my niece as his anchor. The reason they moved in, is because he is a piece of shit who is too good to work, and my sister needs to go to school.

Something tells me I'm gonna beat the shit out of my sister's husband before too long.

Like I said on Facebook, hopefully things will get better for you and your family, and after they do take more time off. Don't think were gonna hate you for a simple delay, your a single person doing something that George and a massive industry full of the best of the best can't even do right.

I look at the work you've done and all I can think is "Oh man, I would've given up after colour correction".

You deserve a vacation. Be with your family, and don't worry about the edit. We'll be right here as always.

I can't stand when music studios fade a track dead right or dead left. I don't mind panning it, but you have to let it bleed to the opposite side a little bit. It makes me cringe when vocals are that way. That's why I can't listen to the Beatles early albums in stereo.

To me, it's worse than brickwalling an album.

Yeah, I plan on getting back to all my projects when I get money saved up to get build a better computer. I've still got all the files on my laptop. I've done minor upgrades, but it still isn't good enough. I just need to start fresh and build a better computer. 

The rogue anti virus put up a fight, but the dumbasses who made it, tried to make it legit, so I was able to find out how to get rid of it. Luckily I just got into safe mode and found it in program files and deleted it that way.
