"You want the impossible" Though most of your Ideas were great like the Blade Runner style emperors Tower. but a project of that magnitude though amazing. Is a completely new movie ILM couldnt do that with their 3 year coffee breaks (i know they work hard but dayam some of you do more by yourself than they do with their army of editors) but the ideas are good just very hard to produce.

As stated before FLAC rulez. I have the star wars anthology set in flac. It just dominates the wav versions i have. sadly most movie editing software doesnt support it.  But LP to flac would be so amazing. It is a shame coporations use MP3 as their codec of choice. I hate Ipods coz they dont play my flac collection which comprises of music I actually like. And Itunes doesnt have official releases that play flac. Winamp is too quiet and you get too much of the computers noise (is this my sound card maybe?) im saying clicking and hiss even when nothings playing SORRY IM A NOVICE WITH THINGS LIKE THAT. I would love to hear A digital version of the original LPs. All the lps I own are quite worn but they have a deeper mellow sound to them. especially the quadrophonic releases. Did star wars make it to Reel To Reel coz that is some flawless sound.

I think ILM used Avid and then bought them. I read that somewhere. It is a very good program. I used to use Final Cut Pro but its not really that thorough. Vegas just takes up to much space. I really need to get a computer just for video editing. The one im using is for Video, Hardcore Gaming, BUKU music, Music Production, and Pictures/Dvd covers (new favorite hobby)

Thats why I stick with Adobe Premiere. of course Adobe sucks because its specific on exactly what codecs you are using (all programs do that though) I guess I am too lazy to install the plugins needed.

I just want a star wars release that is anamorphic and isnt jumpy like the laserdisc to dvd transfer. I happen to like the way star wars looks. Leave the special editions for fitting in with todays standards. I just want what we all want. The Original as good as the original ORIGINALLY looked. I for one like the special edition with the exception of greedo shooting and jabba. I think jabba needs some editing to make him look more like he did in ROTJ plus isnt it weird that an Imobile character moves in A New Hope. Unless Jabba had been hitting the happy meals. Plus cant we all just get along

Yeah. I have to say RAPE was a strong word. I guess I just really would like to see it done. I'm not that big of a help for fan edits. I just give suggestions. My only part to this site is that I am a huge star wars nut an addict in some way. I have to say I am a little less against the special edition I think It works with the prequels. I just really love the original. If only ridley scott made the star wars saga. Each version would be released with the respect they deserve as blade runner (another movie i am an addict of) was.

I feel kinda raped by this projecy and some of u have known about it for years LOL. If someone atleast distributed the incomplete work on here I bet half of you could get it done in less time than the millenium falcon can make it past lightspeed.

I have a NOOB question seeing as I am a novice at dvd covers. how does one show off their covers all fancy. were its like a 3d view but digitally. from the side you know? people post em like that once in a while. sorry for my ignorance but i think it's cool.

Wow those look great. And the Star Wars cover is what I was going for on my set. Good work cant wait to see the rest of the trilogy. You picked the best KOTCS poster art. the official one was to contrasty and harsh were as the others look kinda worn which I like. I tried doing a complete re do of the a new hope 90's cover but I couldnt find the han solo picture in high res. and the ESB cover I couldnt find a good clean picture of the lando they used. so I am just gonna use different pics. for a new hope i used the one with han and chewie shooting at the stormtroopers but chewie made the black text unreadable. If I could get my hands on some high resolution screencaps that would be amazing but I cant even find good enough ones on google.

I could do that. I'll do it after i'm done with this set. I am also doing another set. I need to do a good indiana jones set. it is a shame that kingdom of the crystal skull sticks out like a sore thumb of course I keep telling myself that it does'nt exist and the day I saw it was just a bad dream. so I'll end it with the last crusade LOL.

Here is the image resized this time I used a grid and used the replace color tool and made the blacks pure black so the image wasnt to contrasty.

Well I said i was still tweaking them. some look stretched because i slapped it together. that is not what they will look like on the final release. keep up the feedback. I WILL BRIGHTEN MY DISPLAY ALOT THANKS

Here is the full set. Their pretty much done now im going over them to check the spelling in the cast. I really like them because they focus on drew struzan's artwork. and the backs each show a lightsaber duel. like a new hopes got obi and vader in front of the falcon and luke in bespin etc. If you like them ill post the full quality dvd sleeves. the image below was slapped together but its still ok.
