STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

BarBar Jinkx

Here is a slight tweak. Just light in lukes eyes makes it more convincing. I don't know how it looks on a brighter moniter but it looks pretty good on my computer. What i did was added slight lens flare in lukes eyes. then cut luke from tweaked image and popped him into the original picture.

Media Player is so crappy that is why I uninstalled it. VLC is an amazing program the only crappy thing is that it doesnt capture screens in a larger size.

How large are you talking - i have no problem taking snapshots in HD.

I am talking at least 1024 X 768. It only gives me like 7** x 3**

Ok Ok OK guys. {janskeet} Though we ady and the rest of us encourage ideas. It is ok to post any ANY idea you have. But if adywan has stated that he won't be doing something just because one asks him to do it. Then we should respect the man (who works tirelessly to do these big projects) and stop beating it in the ground. If you keep sayin I want I want me me me etc etc etc. People even adywan are liable to push the ignore button. I haven't pushed it for anyone yet and probably never will but if you want green lasers start a fan edit. Fan edits a praised here. You will have full support but this is a project from a man who has had a vision for the movies since they came out and he is making them based off of HIS vision NOT OURS NOT YOURS NOT ANYBODYS. If you dont want to make a fan edit go to ESB and ROTJ wishlist and post that there.

So could you guys summerize the debate and tell me why they came to the conclusion not to make them green?

Enigmas said:

Adywan finally put the issue to rest through shear fiat.

There you go. It's his edit, and he didn't want them green. That's really what it came down to.

But I want them green.

We can all want in one hand and shit in the other and see which fills up faster. Ady is not changing them. If they werent green in the original they do not necessarily need to be green now. Plus red contrasts better off of the white snow in hoth than green would. Its just added color to such a dreary looking place.

Help: looking for... 'George Lucas: Maker of Films' (1971 documentary)
Time

Now he is fat and rides around skywalker ranch in four weelers and golf carts.

"I wrote the whole saga when I was 5 IN ONE DAY. It actually took me 20 minutes" said Lucas, "Yeah, I was sitting at the table staring into a bowl of cereal and I heard a voice say "george lucas if you film it they will come" so I sat there and wrote it down." I actually wrote the first movie in 75. " The prequels were writtin in 68. I wrote only one draft of the whole saga. "Jar Jar Binks came to me one day while I was climbing mount everast. I think that the greedo scene was wrong the first time out it made sense for him to miss solo at point blank range. I originally wanted greedo to be hans co pilot. I wanted to play luke. Yoda was actually based off of my dad. I think the films will never be perfect that is why i havent released them on blu ray. I will right before I release the SIX film george lucas CUT box set on laserdisc. Then I will release the original films on VHS. and after that burn the masters." I really love my fans so I am always out to please"

Info & Ideas: ESB and ROTJ Wishlist

well if it seems like they had already fought it would make the easy battle later make sense that the battle was so easy. If they add deserted ships and smoldering ashes everywhere. Of course the rebels would say something about that so hmmmmmmmm. Leave it alone and make the battle later harder and more "Imperial" I mean come on the EMPIRE. The same empire that we expect the whole saga for the SHIT TO HIT THE FAN. They have to put up an epic fight (no 300 type fight but damn close) I mean I hate movies with BOOOM and humongous battles but that is the only way to beat the empire right. Their should imperials everywhere. And tie fighters (they all need to be up in space) tie bombers would work though (They arent really dogfight type ships)

And it's dark on purpose. It would look very different if it was lit like the rest of Cloud City, but it was part of Vader's luring Luke in. Darkness, shadows, etc...

and the effect worked. it would be very hard to be sneaky in a well lit up beautiful place in a black costume.

I never liked this shot:

It's obvious that balcony used to be a closed wall because why would they leave an open entrance into cloud city from outside. Doesn't it rain on cloud city? PErhaps this could be changed to look more convincing.

Have you ever been to italy. Their are balcony's like that everywhere. They don't really care if it rains or not. Plus a gas planet wouldnt necessarily rain. and even if it did cloud city is among the clouds not under them. And another thing they could always have shields or coverings to keep rain out.

I don't like these sets. They look cool but there is no logic to them. It looks like George Lucas was torn between making a set that is the interior of the death star or the interior of cloud city. I don't understand the logic of this set at all. I've seen some Fan fiction and star wars books that show the analogy of these sets, but I'm not buying them.

This one looks too much like the window in ROTJ. Is there suppose to be some symbolism between this window and the ROTJ throne room window or is this just a case of George Lucas over indulging in his obsessive compulsions?

Now what in the movie do you like? For one thing it is a beautiful set all it needs is more life to it.

May 18, 1999, how did you feel before Episode I?
Time
CO said:

OK, this is a thread about your thoughts pre-TPM, pre-PT, so no post-TPM/PT movie remarks.

1. What were your expectations going in Episode I?

I was excited. I was a 90's kid so I got into star wars in about 94 and I was so happy to see a star wars movie for the first time in theater

2. What did you think of the trailers released in 1998/99?

When I was that age I really didn't watch TV so I didn't really know about it until a week before it came out. I was still getting over the space jam stage of my life.

3. Did you read any SW Insiders magazines, spoilers on the internet? Anything from them that stuck out to you?

My parents bought me a graphic novel of the movie. It was pretty cool. I wish I knew what happened to it. The best star wars illustrations I had seen in a graphic novel. The lightsabers just jumped out of the pages.

4. What did you think of the hype in the Spring of '99, as it seemed like every entertainment show was talking about the first SW film in 16 years?

Well I had friends all over the place with Star Wars shirts who didn't even know about the old films. I didn't know what to expect of a film like it. My cousin (who finds it necessary to spoil every movie for me) explained the movie but he was so young I didn't understand what he was talking about so Thank god he didn't ruin it for me. Everyone I knew was excited.

5. Did you collect any of the toys, or the merchandise from Taco Bell I think? or was it Burger King?

Oh yeah I got a toy of the queen amidala's ship I think it was a taco bell one. I got a whole mess of action figures. I got C-3PO (naked wire version), Darth Maul (the one that split at the torso) that came with Obi Wan. I was happy. I even got a thing that the figures stood on the extrusions and had the microchips with them that played sounds.

6. When did you finally see it, opening night? opening weekend? wait for the crowds to die down and saw it later in the summer?

I am not too sure. I really wasn't a movie kid at the time. Half of the movies I saw I didn't even know what their names were. I would have to say I probably saw it a week or 2 after release. I really liked the movie and since I was about 9 years old Jar Jar didn't bother me too much. I was awed by Darth Maul that duel is still so epic and beautiful. Best choreography. Even that year I dressed up as darth maul for Halloween. The following year I went back to Darth Vader LOL. It was a great experience. I wished the rest of the prequels would have been as good.
