Since we’re posting Trump pics
Happy (4 day late) 12th birthday to one of my favourite shooters, Halo 2. I guess.
On the topic of old school FPS, I recently found out about this indie game called Dusk. A game coming out next year inspired by 90s shooters like Half Life, Quake etc and is showing quite a bit of potential, looks like I finally have something to be excited for in 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN1N05WmiqU
I haven’t seen Avatar and am proud of that accomplishment.
That makes two of us.
Ew, that sounds like something Darthrush would say.
Temple of Doom (1984):
This is a very polarizing one for me, I honestly can’t decide if I like or dislike this movie. The overuse of blue screen ended up annoying me more than Willie Scott and Shortround surprisingly, there is just too much of it and doesn’t hold up at all. This movie came out the same year as Ghostbusters and somehow the hilariously bad effects in that hold up better than the blue screen in this. All I can say really is that it isn’t bad, just okay.
The Last Crusade (1989):
As I was watching this, I was convinced I would like it even more than Raiders. Luckily the effects are very much an improvement over TOM (minus dogfight scene), the slapstick and humour also didn’t annoy me that much somehow, and although it does go too far in certain places I was still thoroughly enjoying myself watching this. A gripe I have is with the Knight character, I don’t know why he’s even in the movie. His purpose was to guard the grail right? What is his purpose if no one is even capable of leaving the Temple with the grail? To feed exposition? Ah whatever, anyway, favourite OST of the series. Comes close to as good as Raiders. Not looking forward to number 4, let alone 5.
This movie has never been spared for terrible cover art
This one in particular makes no sense because the movie isn’t even in colour. They also did a terrible job at colouring it too.
A solid response: http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2016/10/04/hoth-white-why-diversity-matters-in-star-wars
Jesus, why did I read that.
But hey it’s the Internet so I guess I can just link someone’s opinion so I don’t need come up with one myself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g9cJ5WKZeU
What the heck is he holding?
The Totally and Completely Understands Women trophy.
Found this on Deviantart;
I really hope this is satire, but I don’t think it is.
Oh my god, I’ve seen that a while ago. He was being serious.
Plinkett, we’re home.
Ghost Obi Wan will do I guess.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
A young Mr Ford kills nazis in the desert. Fun movie.
A Car’s Life (2006)
After watching this, I can’t help but imagine the opening music playing over the scene where the pink anthro car (don’t remember her name) gets mauled to near death. The score is mixed badly and is hilariously out of touch with whatever’s happening onscreen, it makes me forget how terrible the movie is and laugh it off.
am i a real star wars fan now?
Quite the opposite
Hey, gotta fit in with the millennials somehow.
Half Life 3/Valve joke.

She’s The Man (2006)
We had to watch this in english class and I didn’t enjoy it at all. The jokes aren’t funny, the pacing feels off (Though that might just be my unfamiliarity with romantic comedies) and there are points where the main character would’ve been easily been caught had these been real situations. The premise wasn’t anything that interesting and is just confusing at certain points. Eventually I needed to use the toilet at one point, so I used the opportunity to miss out on as much of it as possible, quite frankly it wasn’t enough.
